We rented a 50cc scooter to ride around the island of Brac,
Fast rental, clear prices, and pleasant staff.
The scooter worked very well, even up to Vidova Gora (top of the island of Brac). 20 km/h on the hills for two on the scooter but normal, it's a 50cc. This allows you to take the time to admire the landscape a little more.

We just recommend taking a quick look around at the start of the rental to check that everything is okay (this was our case).

On return, very quick check-in and our deposit was returned to us.

I rent a bike for 3 hours, and I could visit the Park Šuma Marjan and I went to Žnjan City Beach as well. The bike was easy to use it. The cost was 60 Kunas for 3 hours and the localization is in the middle of historical part of Split. Jelena was very nice and friendly with me, and she gave advices of what I could visit in Split. Strongly recommended it.

Had a great time with our charming guide, Leo. He went above and beyond to make sure all was well and that we had the best time possible, with excellent humour I might add.
Only thing is I wish we had a bit longer in the park rather than the town, but I understand there's quite a bit of driving to do. Still had a packed day overall for a very reasonable price!

I rented a car on the 2nd of August and similarly to other reviews on here, the deposit has not been returned to me one week after the rental despite the email (see below) from the company saying that they would refund within a couple of days. And confirmation over the phone (phone call recorded) that there was no damage at all to the car and the full deposit would be refunded. They also said that they would charge the missing fuel to the deposit and refund 430EUR instead of the 500 but they made a separate charge of 70eur for the fuel. I wish I had seen the reviews before using this company. Thankfully I used a Monzo card and hopefully will be able to recover funds following a dispute of the transaction but we will see.

I will delete this review if funds are released back to me but I am not hopeful I will get them without intervention from Monzo/MasterCard. Please prove me wrong Flarent.

I walked past the shop in Split town as I headed to another hire car company I had found online and saw a sign for car rental. I went in and decided to arrange a car with them for the next day. I explained I would be flying the same day and needed to drop the car at the airport which they said was fine as I could return it to their “partner”.

The next day I went to pick up the car and they explained I needed to leave a euro500 deposit which hadn’t been mentioned during the first conversation. I had a few questions but agreed to do so and the man’s colleague left to collect the car. I was told to go outside and wait for 10 minutes. 45 minutes later the lady turned up in the car, took pictures of the car and the fuel level. We agreed no damage at all as it was almost brand new with very few miles. I felt comfortable so I put my bags and family in and drove to KRKA National Park.

We had our day and drove back to the airport where I walked into the office at their partner Sixth. They said that they are only paid for parking and could not check the car or return the deposit which wasn’t what I expected but I had a plane to catch so had no choice but to leave the car. I removed the bags and left the car exactly as we found it. I took pictures of the car from every angle for my own protection as no one could sign for a safe return.

A couple of days after I arrived in England, Flarent sent me a what’s app message to say the Traffic Permit was missing with a photo of what it looks like. It’s A5 bright blue plastic document holder with several papers inside and not something you can miss. I explained I had never seen such a document nor had I removed it. They said I was handed it when I took the car which is absolutely not truthful and my whole family agreed. It’s not something you can miss or forget and if it’s as important as they said it is, it should be spoken about, which it never was until I was in England.

I have no doubt in my mind that I had not received, seen or removed this bright blue folder which I told them. After some communication, what I am also sure off, is they saw an opportunity in the fact I was returning the car somewhere else and returning immediately to England so they decided to take more than Euro 300 without my agreement. They said they cannot rent the car without one to which I replied they clearly can, because they did to me. I sent several messages on what’s app but I got no where so ive raised a dispute with my credit card company and now its for them to sort out.

I am sure they will reply to this review and say I lost it and it’s my word against theirs. What I will say is, I am as strait laced as they come and if I did something, I would pay for it. I would rather tell the truth and get in trouble than lie. I have done nothing wrong here and I share this so when they try to do this to others, you can see you are not the first or better still, choose another well known rental company.

We loved Croatia and won’t let one companies awful morals affect what was a wonderful family trip!

Underwhelmed is an understatement! We did the five island tour of the Split area. Firstly there are two offices. We were waiting by one (no one told us about the second one) and almost missed the trip entirely. Five islands! We saw maybe three! The other two we passed as it was too ‘busy’ even though everyone seemed to be swimming around their boats. We were dropped off at the Blue Cave, given our tickets and told the wait would be an hour. 2.5 hours later we gained access to the cave! I heard that other tours got the tickets and then did a tour of another island rather than just sit on an island for 2.5 hours with little to do. The Blue Lagoon should have been incredible however again they just anchored up and said jump out and swim to the beach and come back in an hour! Other boats were harboured but they couldn’t be bothered. Lastly the Hvar stop ended up being them taking us to a family restaurant, paying over £80 for a piece of fish (shared) and some vegetables and then it was time to head back. It costs us £200! What an absolute joke! Avoid these guys like the plague!

Hopelessly disorganised!

Our hotel booked us the Krka tour and a blue lagoon & Trogir boat tour with Flarent.

The Krka trip was okay apart from the fact that they couldn’t find our booking when we arrived and we left pretty late so lost time. But the tour guide - Gianna was great!

The boat trip started with us hanging around for ages, after they again couldn’t find the booking, and the start time being completely different on the website than we’d been told. We were then passed to one guy and then to another before being whisked to another boat just as we were about to get on the first. Only to discover as we stopped on an island that they’d put us on a different tour! It was fun - just not the tour we’d booked! So we missed visiting Trogir altogether. When we told them when we got back, after lots of calls we were given a complete nonsense story about why we’d not gone on the booked trip - but a partial refund and the offer of a free airport transfer after I was quite clear their story was untrue.

The next morning, our airport transfer didn’t arrive. We called and were told it would be ten minutes. It wasn’t. After another call, the car finally arrived over 30 minutes late. And, again, rather than just admitting the mistake, we were given an obvious made up story about the reason for the lateness. And only got an apology after I prompted the guy. Just not what you need when you have a flight to catch…

It’s such a shame that the company are letting themselves down like this. And to compound their sloppy mistakes by obvious untrue stories rather than just sincere apologies is sad.

I chose to go on 3-island boat tour organized by Flarent agent, paid my deposit, with outstanding balance of €100 to be paid at the quayside. I has secured a €10 discount because I was also doing the Kyrka National Park tour the following day. The operator at the quayside queried why my balance was €100, and I told him that what was agreed at the booking office.
He then offered me the VISA card machine to take payment and I spotted he has dialled in €110, without my permission and without mentioning that he had 'upped' the payment. I told him I was not paying that. He then said I was being charged an extra €10 because it was a card payment, otherwise I would have to pay in cash. This was bogus as he had not applied this spurious charge to other card paying customers.
I paid in cash. It started the day poorly, as he essentially tried to steal €10.

Good day, quite strange review, you are speaking about 5 islands tour probably...in our agency we only have girls for bookings, so I am really not sure it was with us. Hope that you enjoyed on the tour. For 10 euro difference, you could come after the tour if it was agreed as you mention, we would solve miss understanding. Steal is not something we do for sure! We went on the “KRKA Waterfalls Tour” as described in the Flarent brochure. Suffice it to say that the tour was not as described in the brochure or by the booking agent when booking. There may have been a reason for the changes to the itinerary but we were not informed of these in advance. Please take care when booking a tour with this agency. It may not be as described.

We are really sorry you had situation like this, because it wasn't our intention, in fact, the complete opposite, in the days when the part of Park was closed for visitors due to submerged parts of the park, we did our best to give our guest best possible version of Krka in these days. We are also sorry if someone of our agents didn't explain you in details situation and changes but it was just because of exceptional situation of natural disaster. Thank you for being our guest. We went rafting with Flarent but it was badly arranged. When we arrived in Omis we had to wait 40 minutes to get on another bus to go to the cetina river. This was arranged by another company (Lestrigon). Once arrived it went okay but the rafting itself wasn’t worth the money either. Afterwards we weren’t told what bus to get on and where so we had to figure it out by ourselves. The bus dropped us off in Omis but in a different place than where we left. We walked to the office but they said we had to wait another 50 minutes for the bus of Flarent to come. We ended up back in Split around 3 PM. We also had to pay 100 kuna for photos, which were very bad quality and didn’t get any water during the rafting but that’s more on Lestrigon. So mostly the poor communication was a frustrating experience.
