Thank you Private Tours Croatia and Ivana Bosancic for arranging a wonderful two week itinerary covering Croatia from Zagreb to Dubrovnik stopping along the coast at Rovinj, Split, and Hvar. Every stop we were met by a luxury car and driver and knowledgable guides. Each hotel was different in style from an elegant old world city hotel to a small boutique in the old town to a modern resort. Plus some unique stops like meeting a truffle hunter and his dogs and a picnic with an oyster farmer. I love planning my own itinerary but I would never have had so many unusual experiences all stress free. Even the restaurant recommendations and reservations were just perfect. We traveled in mid September and the weather was magnificent. Our trip was originally planned for 2020 but we were easily accommodated to make changes due to Covid. We were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Private Tours Croatia.

Overall Rating: Definitely a 5 out of 5! Croatia was amazing, and Ivana made our trip truly memorable. We visited Split, Hvar, and Dubrovnik on this trip. Ivana really listened to what we wanted, and tailored the trip, and the private guides, to our interests, which are nature, history, culture, and art. We also like smaller hotels, located very close to our areas of focus - historical sites, waterfronts, etc depending on the location - with a local flavor and vernacular architecture as much as possible, and she really delivered. We loved our hotels in Split and Dubrovnik, and our Hvar hotel was very well situated, though more modern. Our private guides in Split, Dubrovnik, and Hvar were all really knowledgeable and gave us an excellent sense of the history of the places we visited and the local culture and economy. Ivana was also extremely responsive to all our requests and some changes that we realized would suit us better (like traveling back from Hvar to Split on the open-air ferry where we could enjoy the amazing views rather than the faster catamaran where one had to sit in a stuffy cabin and peer through murky windows!) We would definitely recommend her and her company to anyone planning a trip to Croatia. Highlights: We thoroughly enjoyed every place we stayed. Our hotel in Split was in the medieval town on the main square, very close to the Diocletian palace and we really enjoyed wandering through all the little side streets and visiting the main palace piazza not just on our private tour but at night, when a musician played there and the steps were crowded with listeners enjoying a drink and the music. The hotel itself was amazing, with massive stone walls and a lot of character. Our Split guide was an art history major, and knew so much about the architecture and history of Split and Trogir. In Hvar we had a truly unforgettable 'hidden Hvar' tour, with some of the most spectacular scenery on a trip that was replete with spectacular scenery, and an amazing lunch at the best peka restaurant on Hvar. Its garden setting made it memorable in and of itself. And, of course, Dubrovnik with its Old Town and mile+ continuous Walls and rich history as a maritime power to rival Venice was a fabulous closing experience. A truly magical trip.

We just came back from a wonderful trip organized by Private Tours Croatia. Everything from stepping out of the airplane in Dubrovnik to departing from Zagreb were perfectly planned and spaced. They organized for us a trip that included a lot of physical activity like snorkeling, biking, hiking, and kayaking; with tours of the cities and their cultural highlights along with unique experiences like wine tastings to visiting a an oyster farm to learn how they grow the oysters. Every person that guided us through these experiences were highly educated and provided lots of information and their personal perspectives. We loved everyone of these experiences. The trip involved visiting Dubrovnik, the islands of Vis, Korcula and Hvar, Split and its surroundings, Plitvici National Park and Zagreb. The hotels they selected at each location were perfectly located, clean and beautiful. Transportation from place to place either by car or by ferry were pre-arranged and worked perfectly, the places that they took us for lunches were unique and allowed us to try typical foods from Croatia. In addition, they arranged for us to get the Covid tests before leaving Croatia to come back to the States. We felt that this was a perfect trip and want to thank Private Tours Croatia and their staff for providing such a magnificent experience.

I highly recommend Private Tours Croatia for planning an unforgettable travel experience! Matea was incredibly helpful and responsive during the planning stage as well as throughout the trip. Our itinerary included Split, Hvar and Dubrovonik. The most unique and our favorite experience was truffle hunting. Not only did we get to work with the trained dogs to find truffles for us to dig up, Ivanna cooked and served us an amazing 4-course meal sitting right in the forest. It was wonderful! We also did a "wine and food pairing" at Bibich winery which was out of this world - be sure to come hungry - each course is a small work of art - but after 6 or 7 we lost count and couldn't eat it all. The wine was very good also. We had excellent walking tours in each city with highly experienced and knowledgeable guides who were also fun and great at reading our preference for pace, etc. Croatia is a bucket-list destination and we're so glad we went. The incredible quality and artistry of the food (AND QUANTITY!) was a delightful surprise. Overall, this was one of the best organized and relaxing trips we have taken. I would highly recommend Private Tours Croatia and Matea who overcame every change of schedule we threw at her (and there were many). Every driver and guide was on time and professional. Matea also arranged the required PCR COVID test at our hotel the day before departure. Thank you for everything, Matea!

Fantastic! We had to postpone this trip twice due to COVID, but Ivana was patient, flexible, professional and extremely responsive. The itinerary she put together for us was flawless. Great hotels, excellent guides, professional drivers, and great stop-offs. The oyster farm and Hvar country restaurant were fabulous. Everything was of the highest quality and proceeded like clockwork. We wouldn't have changed a single item on the itinerary. Her help and responsiveness navigating all the COVID travel requirements was extremely thorough and helpful - she even arranged a rapid test at the hotel the day before our departure. Highly recommended without reservation.
