We spent the extra money to charter a private tour and it was well worth it. Skipper Marin was so nice and seemed to enjoy the trip as much as we did! He took us around to so many places. What a nice skipper. The boat was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this excursion and ask for Marin.

Exactly two Sundays ago I went on an AMAZING day trip to the Blue Cave with Hello Blue Cave. We made stops at Stiniva Bay, Blue Lagoon etc as well. The real highlight for me was the Blue Cave and Hvar Island.

The tour was well organised and I was well looked after by Kristian who was excellent from start to finish. I would highly recommend booking this tour when visiting Split as you won’t be disappointed.

My daughter and I went on the full day trip to the Blue Caves... it was so much fun! We got to snorkel, visit the Blue Caves, and see several other islands. The day was perfect and we had people from around the world on the boat which made it so much more interesting. Martina and Jure did a great job making sure everyone had fun. Split was rather touristy for my taste but this trip allowed us to see more of this remarkable country. Thanks for a great day!

They changed the pickup point the night before the trip.
I checked the tour because the pickup point was close to my accommodation, and it was only 8 min. If it was too far, I would not have signed up. I had to walk 25 min .
Because they started late, I had to wait 2 hours to see the Blue cave, just to see the cave for 5 min.
However, the boat ride was pleasant and the crew was nice.

This was very disappointing tour to say the least.
After we got the message the blue cave was not included today because it wasn't for the last 6 days and probably wont be until monday (4 days from now). Weird thing is, I booked yesterday and no mentioning of this anywhere. So if anyone else book this tour make sure to call in advance.

If you go on this tour, you're in for a ride of a lifetime. Literally, because of the 10+ hours, this tour is 7+ hours bouncing on the water. And this is not on a comfortable big boat with drinks, time to interact (talk not scream), sunbathe or even look around. We were holding on for dear life while our kidneys where pounded out our bodies, on a small zodiac boat. SO to follow the sales pitch for this tour...

Your luxury boat tour, (no luxury at all)
starting from the city of Split, (this is true)
is a great chance for you to see all the popular islands, main attractions and really enjoy day on in style (just see them, no enjoyment is possible, certainly not in style)

Each boat has seats under the hard top, (hard top??!!??)
so you will be guaranteed a seat in the shade (no shade to be found anywhere)
or you can lay and relax on sundeck, (this was impossible if you don't want to swim or fly more than 2m on hitting every wave!)
enjoying sun and wind in your hair. (good luck enjoying)

I rarely write bad reviews but this is my first one and hopefully the last one.

We are a family of four, joined the "Blue Cave tour with luxury boat" this morning and I'd say this is definitely the worst decision I've made.
We were told by a staff after we've paid and boarded the boat, " we've got a notice for you guys, the blue cave is currently closed due to bad weather so we might not be able to go in but we'll see if it's possible to get in at a later time".

Apparently the touring agencies get calls from the staff who works for the Blue Cave every day early in the morning, so they intentionally hide it from us and only tell us about this after they took our money ( the tour costs 125 euros per head and we are a family of four).
I have a friend who joined a tour with another touring company last week and the same happened ( the cave was closed due to bad weather), but their touring agency was upfront and told them beforehand, and even agreed to refund in full as they understood most of the tourists come all the way for / join private tours just because of the blue cave.

So after being told that we might not be able to go in, the staff from "hello blue cave" told us they will wait around the blue cave and see if it's possible to get in in the afternoon.

They ended up dropped us off on Pakleni island for an hour ( free time) and when we boarded again, the so called "captain" told us he just called and it's definitely not possible to go into the blue cave today.

It's all lies as I approached a taxi boat company on the Pakleni island during our free time, and asked if it's possible to go in today (as they also sell tickets for the blue cave), the person in charge told us they received call early in the morning, it's for sure not possible to get in for the entire day and so he suggested an alternative " green cave".

I explained to the staff from "hello blue cave" that we all came for the blue cave and most of us joined the tour because of it. She( a blonde lady) was really rude and argued that the main point of this tour is not about blue cave.... This is really ironic as the company is named as "hello blue cave" and you advertise your tours online highlighting and making the visit to the blue cave a focus.

On the way back from Hvar to Split, the staff were so unprofessional and rude, when most of the customers were trying to get some rest on the boat that they turned on loud music they like and they were just singing along loudly and enjoying themselves without even showing some respect to the exhausted customers.

I understand that it's beyond their control as to the bad weather and I am not putting the blame on them ( it's Mother Nature). The fact that they intentionally hid it (the fact that you won't be able to visit the blue cave) from us so to induce us to continue with the tour made us sick!!
As tourists, we travelled all the way and paid such huge sum of money hoping for some great experiences. But in return, we got nothing from what we've expected. To be frank, it's not about the money paid/ spent, in stead it's about the way how they treated us ( no respect at all).

They are a SKETCHY and UNPROFESSIONAL company who only care about your money.I you don't want to be let down and wish to have a better experience, I would suggest to look elsewhere even if you have to pay a higher price.

We were a group of 17 friends visiting Split for a week and we booked a private day tour from Hello Blue Cave. Since we were such a big group, the lovely contact person suggested us to book two boats for the day. We ended up having one big boat and one smaller one and skilled drivers for both of them.

The service was excellent and reliable from the first email until the very end of the trip. We had lots of questions before the trip and Hello Blue Cave responded us really fast and was flexible to fulfill our wishes.

On the trip day the captain Jure and his lovely crew took really good care of us. The day plan was customized for us and we visited among other things on Vis and Hvar islands, in Blue Cave and Monk Seal Cave, we had snorkeling breaks in a hidden beach and in the stunning Blue Lagoon. Also we enjoyed wonderful lunch in a small restaurant hidden in Hvar island. The crew was adjusting the schedule based on our wishes and they even flexed the end of the day for two hours just to give us more time to enjoy the last stop in Hvar. The crown of the day was a dolphin family we happened to see on our way back to home.

The boats were in good shape, safe and well equipped. In the bigger boat we had a toilet and a fridge for our refreshments.

This might not be the cheapest tour available but our whole group agreed that it was worth of every penny. One hint: if you have a sensitive stomach prepare some sea sickness medicines for you. The ride can be a bit bumpy but that's part of the fun ;)

My friend and I booked this trip a day before we went. We were told it was going to be a nice ride to the following places: the blue cave, the blue lagoon, hvar, the islands that look like a squiggly line, and A beach thats voted the third best beach the world. When we arrived the morning, they told us the blue cave was closed which is the main reason we booked the trip. We come to find out that the blue cave is closed because of the high wind which also made the water extremely choppy. Therefore the boat ride was us holding on for lives, it was extremely extremely dangerous. Also the boat driver told us that the water is like this every three days so cave is usually closed every three days. He also told us they know that the cave is going to be closed days before but they still book trips. We not only didn’t do the blue cave but neither the blue lagoon, the islands that look like a squiggly line, and the beach thats voted the third best beach the world. We paid 100€ each for a trip we didn’t receive. After we got back we talked to one of the bookers and she was nice and called the woman in charge who was extremely unprofessional. The woman said that she doesn’t do refunds and said she doesn’t care if we enjoyed it and then hung up and blocked the number. This was the most poorly run company I’ve ever dealt with. Please don’t use this company if you’re going to do a tour. And make sure the water will be nice the day you’re going because if not, you wont get what you paid for.

Dear Perliing, I am sorry, but I think you have booked with another company, because our price for blue cave tour is 125 € or 119€ for several years now. We are sorry you did not enjoy with another company. A few words about Hello Blue Cave team: Our longtime staff like Jure, Marin, Lucija, Frankie and Ivan are highly capable individuals that do their job with a lot of care and responsibility. We are also recruiting new experienced members to take part of our team. The company itself is among the first in this area that has organized the blue cave tour, and with so many years of experience in mind, we can guarantee that the level of our service is far above the level you are describing in your review. A few words about OUR Blue Cave Tour: Our number one priority is: GUESTS SAFETY! Regarding that fact, if the cave is closed for admittance, it is ONLY because of the safety reasons caused by bad sea conditions- nothing else. Now we know WHY the cave gets closed, so let's explain WHY we can not always predict WHEN will it be closed. The entrance is very narrow and it is on the south side of the island - hence it's sensitive to the south winds, causing swells and tides that block the entrance. It doesn't matter if it's RAINY or SUNNY, and there's no obvious rule of thumb regarding wind force.
