Croatia is an umbrella term for hystory, culture, gourmet food, fine wines, beautiful Adriatic Sea, numerous unique National Parks and stunning landscapes – only a handful of places in the world offer such intense pleasure and abiding memories. We used Private Tours Travel Agency for a 4-day custom Private tour from Split, Croatia to see KRKA National Park, Plitvice National Park, Rastoke, Predjama castle, Postojna caves, Lake Bled and Zagreb sight seeing. Vibor, the driver/guide was awesome. He is extremely professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. One thing with such an itinerary is the need to be flexible and make changes as appropriate. Vibor was very flexible in this regard and we re-arranged the order as it made sense. He was always eager to please us. The Mercedes van used for the trip was very clean and extremely comfortable.
We were very happy with the trip and glad we chose Ante Rupcic's company for this part of our Croatia/Slovenia tour. I strongly recommend Ante and Vibor for anyone who want a classy driver/guide in Croatia or neighboring countries.

Ante takes good care of us during our trip. We arranged for airport pick up and drop off and guided trips from Dubrovnik down to Zagreb, with stays in Split and Zadar. Ante will share stories and tibbits about the area.
Just email or text Ante and he will help you do up your itinerary with your must visit places and he will fill up the rest with recommendations. He will also let you know the local restaurants and best places to find food and drinks after dropping you off and we never had a bad meal with his recommendation.
We also had the honour to meet Ante's mother as part of the farm to table experience. This is a must do especially when travelling between Dubrovnik and Split.
For fees and prices, Ante quote a very reasonable rate and even gave us a few quotation to choose from.
All in all, highly recommend Ante and his service. You will be in good hands.

We booked a 16-days trip covering Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina & Montenegro and had an amazing experience! Thanks to Ante, who was our driver and tour guide for the whole trip; for making the trip a truly memorable one for us. From amazing sightseeing of lakes, waterfalls, caves, seaside ports, mountains, vineyard views, fjords to castle walls, city views, bridges and most importantly for us Asians, shopping opportunities! We also had the chance to taste the best of foods from seafood like lobsters, oysters fresh from the farm, fresh fish to truffle pasta, pork ribs, wine tasting, ice cream & more ice creams (best one is the Luka home made ice cream)! And we even went truffle hunting arranged by Ante, which was a truly unique experience. But the “bestest” meals were at Ante’s home near Mostar where his mother prepared the food – veal, prosciutto, home grown tomatoes & figs – they were totally yummy! He has a very nice beautiful comfortable home where we stayed for a night. All throughout the trip, Ante was really flexible, considerate and patient with us 6 ladies even though he has to sometimes repeat instructions many times when we were too excited talking and not listening! He is also extremely attentive to our needs, and recommends us good places to eat (his recommendations are seldom wrong) and he often goes out of his way to add in some ‘extras’ to the attractions/places. Plus, he knows how to take good selfies & photos and is always punctual when picking us up. We will definitely recommend anyone who wish to take on a private tour with his company! Thank you once again, Ante!

Without doubt one of our Besttt Trips.
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Ante Rupcic , our names were mentioned on the board and we felt welcomed and with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start in his Fantastic huge Mercedes Van which was so Clean & Luxurious. The guide and tour was extremely good, extremely flexible, Ante's 2nd name was "No Problem" as no request was big for him and for that he deserves a special thanks. We had Ante for 13 days and they were absolutely wonderful.
Ante has such a warm personality and highly motivated driver & guide. Because of him we truly enjoyed walking the five of us through all the area of Tuscany & Amalfi Coast. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment.
The atmosphere Ante Made was so special that it really felt like home to all of us. All respect for Ante who does a great job there; a true sample of excellent Driver & tour guide!

100% excellent service - could not ask for a better guide and driver. We were a group of 6 picked up from Treviso Airport and taken around the places of our choice in Slovenia ending up in Croatia. Ante not only did the requested job but made our 10 day holiday more beautiful and was very flexible with our requirements. Highly recommend him for your holiday needs!!

I contacted Ante to inquire about tour options in Croatia. From the beginning via email he was responsive and helpful. We ultimately hired Vibor as our drive/guide for 5 days to travel throughout Croatia. He was absolutely SUPERB!!! From start to finish, he was warm, accommodating, energetic and flexible. He also has a great sense of humor! As two females traveling alone we felt safe and well cared for! The farm-to-table experience with Ante's mother was one of the best experiences we have ever had. The value and service they provided was TOP NOTCH. It is obvious that they are very proud of their country and so eager to help you see it through their eyes!! If you are going to Croatia, I would highly recommend Private Tours!!

2nd time with Ante only because he is the most exceptional tour guide driver. Ante truly went above and beyond to make our experience in Italy a memorable one. His thoughtfulness, knowledge, and dedication to providing a top-notch tour made the journey unforgettable. Recalled our journey up the top of Dolomites mountain and we wouldn’t have made it to our mountain house without his remarkable driving skills. He is an absolute maestro behind the wheel! Highly recommended for those seeking an over-the-top touring experience in Europe!

First and foremost a special thanks to Ante & his mum , who hosted us with such warmth and fed us with awesome food was just beyond comprehension. Ante was passionate and our expectations exceeded a million folds. Such patient guys who would go out of his way to help us . He recommended beautiful sites and recommended good rfood which one should try when you are in the Balkans.
We did a 11days trip covering Montenegro, Dubrovnik, Split, Plitvice, Mostar, Herzegovina, Zagreb and Ljubljana.
It was all worth it . I couldn't have asked for more. Such memorable trip . Hope to have more trip with Ante in the near future .

If you are looking for a trip of a lifetime, Ante is the guide you are looking for! His warmth, knowledge and authenticity is remarkable. I cannot speak highly enough of him. From the start he set an enthusiastic and welcoming tone to our trip. Even when things didn’t work out as planned, he made sure to make everyone feel comfortable and excited to wake up the next morning and start fresh. He had an exceptional sense of time and managed to keep us on a schedule even though we were always running late. Let’s not forget to mention the Haggen Dazs hunt! Thank you Ante for going out of your way for us making sure we got our ice cream fix everyday! This was an experience we will never forget! Can’t wait to come back and tour some new places with you!

Our first trip to Rome, Florence & Milan. We cannot describe how much we enjoyed our holiday. Ante is very professional, knowledgeable and a joy to be around. Ante always arrived on time and drove us around. We definitely engage Ante for our next trip.

Has anyone every used Private Tours Travel Agency to do a day trip from Split to Dubrovnik? We are a group of 8 coming in September and I am trying to find the best way to make this trip. I know it will be a long day, but because of our itinerary, it is the only way we can visit Dubrovnik.

Do yourself a favor and contact Ante. He will let you know if it is possible to do a day trip. Keep in mind that you need to do a boarder crossing - 2 down, 2 back - so, you are subject to possibly waiting in line at the crossing - or traffic. I would say that a day trip is too tight. Dubrovnik is beautiful - but you may spend more hours on the road than in Dubrovnik.
