We booked the 1.5 hr trip. There was a good safety briefing before hand and the staff made sure we were all aware of the rules and requirements.
Plenty of staff on hand, all very patient. Pete was our guide, he made sure the slowest were at the rear so those who wanted to go faster could.
It is well worth paying the extra to go longer, 1.5 hours was ideal to get used to the jet ski, gain in confidence, then let rip.
Pete took us in and out of the lagoons, was very friendly and knew what he was on about. The trip was conducted in a safe manner but not in a way that spoilt our fun. Will be back next time we are in the Gold Coast for sure. Excellent for Pete.

My husband and I did this excursion a few days ago. You start with a speedboat transfer to Ciovo. I won't ruin the fun, but make your you put anything you don't want to get wet in your dry sack! Once you arrive you are given a brief crash course in driving a jet ski and off you go! I'd definitely recommend your own jet ski each to fully enjoy the experience as it takes you 10 minutes or so to build up the courage to really push the speed and manoeuvres. You then had half an hour to chill on the island either swimming or grabbing a drink. Great adrenaline filled fun!

Wow!!!! I saw dolphins swimming next to my jetski!!! Perfect experience lots of adrenaline and fun. Our guide Pete who drove the boat was super fun, and the jetski instructor Marin is very funny and helpful and made sure we are all safe and feel comfortable before doing manouvers. Thank you!

We did with my friend a session of jet ski. The session was planned at 6:00 and they ask you to arrive 15mn before. First they call to tel you that session is late of 15mn so you need to come at 6:00. And when we arrive we issue another late of 20-25mn for no reason.
Before I continue you need to know that you can’t pay by card (wtf ?) so you need to pay by cash BUT they don’t have so much cash and they ask you to comeback after the session to take back your cash.
For exemple if you give them 1000 kuna and they need to give you back 75 kuna they won’t be able to do it.
They didn’t have it back because « we don’t have a lot of money in kuna because people usually pays in euro »
So because of the late I ask them some reductions because I am in vacation and the time I waste here was time I could use to visit the city. They didn’t want to do it, and I had to speak a lot with them to have just a little amount back.
Then the session start jet ski are okay but they shortened the session because of their OWN late.
You can see here that they are not serious and they are only here for the money and not for the human and the moments.
Then when the session ended the shop was close and so it was impossible for me to get the money back they promised me.
At the end the experience was pretty bad and when it comes to the money they are pretty angry and not really kind. So considering all of this I recommend you to search elsewhere if you don’t want any kind of problem during your vacation.

Dear Daniel,
we are very sorry to hear that you are disappointed with our service. Your tour at 6 was delayed due to bad weather on the island. All guests agreed to wait half an hour for your safety. You could have given up the trip at any time but you agreed to a partial refund. We are sorry that at that time we did not have The change available to return- which was the amount of 32kn (approx. 4 euros) that we later gave you when you visited us again. We understand that you are angry and we are sorry for this, but we still think that "moneyslave" is hash and in fact an absurd expression for this situation. We wish you to enjoy the rest of your vacation in Split.

Awful experience with these guys. We decided to book this excursion on our last day as we thought it would be a nice end to the holiday, turns out our booking time was put down incorrectly. Although we clearly stated this was our last day, they still tried to offer us a slot the day after. The customer service received by the team was poor and they refused to take responsibility for the mistake made. Please be careful when booking this as they will try to shaft you.

We deeply apologize for this inconvenience and for the misunderstanding that has taken place. You asked for a 12:00 h time slot on 15.8 which was provided to you, but you understood that 15.8 was the time in oppose to the date.
We appreciate the fact that you wanted to spend your last day on your holiday in Split with Split Travel and we are aware that it was a disappointment for you and your party to not be able to experience it as planned. Unfortunately, due to the high demand of our jet ski excursion, it simply was not possible to include your party into a different time slot on that same day. We apologize if you felt like you did not receive satisfactory service, as we try to provide nothing but excellence to our guests. Driving the jetski itself is definitely a great experience. However, in this center there were a couple of annoying things.
First of all, when we came and showed ourselves in the office they led us directly to the jet skies. Come on, how about changing tö swimming suites. We had to pay 8 kn in public toilet nearby to change.
Secondly, the route was not the one stated on the web-site. Instead of going around the island the guy just took us to the swimming place, where we swam 20 min and we drove back. When I asked why is that the gay just said that they can go around the island bit this is a different thing for more money (we payed 170 euro for 2 people and one jet ski which is supposed to mean that we go around the island according to the web-site and hundreds of ads all around Split).
Finally, when we came back we were left wet and salty in the city. No shower, no chance to change. We walked all the way to the nearest beach:) Thus, 3 drawbacks, each gives -1 so it's 2 out of 5.
PS. Our stuff that we put in the waterproof place for baggage was a bit wet, so pack your stuff well;)

Not very pleased that jetskis was set to childmode, only 35 mph. So I really had to use shortcuts for even catch up others.

This trip is not cheap and for what it gave us, we found it a bit overpriced. The guide was ok but not welcoming, informative or cheerful. Besides explaining the very basics about jetski-ing he wasn't very engaged. Considering it is a 'safari' you book, you expect a bit more. The trip itself is nice, and jetski's are fine but including the break for swimming and instructions, you're only on the jetski's for maybe an hour.

Not happy at all.
My very excited 16yr old and I had booked this safari having checked and double-checked the conditions on their website (see photo attached), stating that under 18s were permitted with consent / supervision. On arrival it turns out not to be so :-(
I did mention what the website states, but they refused to budge.
I see that the website STILL states incorrect information.
Obviously, we couldn't ride and so did get a full refund mind. But not before having to get extremely cross and, my son very disappointed. Not what you'd expect or want whilst on vacation. :-(

Firstly we are very sorry for this inconvenient situation. It is our mistake because we have not explained rules on our web page in good way.
In Croatian low it is written that persons under 18 are not allowed to drive and we have to respect low. If you are comming from country where you can drive under 18 we are respecting that, but when you are out of your country you have to follow our rules.
You threatened us with bad rewiew and we all agreed that the best thing would be to cancel tour and refund you your money because you and your son would feel uncomfortable on the tour as well as our guide. We think that it is not correct from you to give us this bad rewiew because you have not tried the tour and you are not familiar with this experience.
Once again we are very sorry and we hope that you will come when your son turns 18 so you can legally try the best adrenaline experience in Split.

I had NEVER done this before - and was completely petrified... The waves aren't too intimidating; I'd suggest just take it easy to start with, get familiar with your jet ski, and let your confidence grow. The adrenaline will help with your arms getting tired!! My hands were a bit achy after a while - I realised it was because I was tensing and holding on for dear life; but once I relaxed, it very quickly became THE experience of our holiday.....
