There was a nice array of items here. and they were displayed quite well. I really enjoyed their WWII items.

I spent a very pleasant few hours here and would probably have spent longer had I not been pressed for time. It's situated right on Constitution Square but the front entrance appears to be undergoing renovations - some sort of construction, anyway, though I never saw anyone doing anything there - so you have to go in the back. Not... More

Five of the hugest tank battles in the world were fought here or close by and only a bit of square footage is dedicated to this story. What a shame.

Visited back in OCTOBER 2013, it rained very hard that day. We can see the wwii tanks outside of the museum; they serve as the main weapons of choice for the Soviet Army during WWII. Inside however, has under construction during the time I was there, therefore, didn't know what interesting weapons from the war were there. QQ~~

Very interesting museum with great artifacts! However, I was disappointed that the 2nd floor (World War 2 display) was closed until further notice!!! Only told, maybe May, maybe June.... For me it was supposed to be the main reason and interest in the museum. So check before you make the trip. I did not see anything on their website regarding... More

Admission entrance to this place is very confusing. I am not fluent in Russian but I can understand most of what people are saying. This place had a number of different admission prices. And the woman selling them just kept talking way too fast! Why not just one admission fee for children and adults instead of a number of different... More

Like many museums here there isn't one price, you pay by exhibit. However they charge more for non-Ukranians. The exhibits are fine, everything is in Russian as expected, but you will pay more just for not speaking Russian. The best exhibits were closed with no explanation and the staff wasn't friendly.
