Although not 'square' in shape, this is a very impressive plaza. A mixture of open space and greenery with a good few bars/restaurants at the Sumska end. Well worth a good look round.

Freedom square is the main place for any kind of demonstrations, protests and probably concerts. Located in the very central part of the city, metro station University. One of the biggest central square in the Europe. Huge size!

Some do and some don't. I used WIFI at my hotel mainly. Very expensive for 4G if going from outside Ukraine.
