Great monument in a great city where I lived in 1998-1999 as a Peace Corps Volunteer. The monument is located on Sumskaya in Chevchenko Park.

Cold and snowy the day we visited, but a lovely park with a fascinating statue dedicated to the poetry of Shevchenko. Walk around the statue and take in the character of each individual.
