During the day, it's a good place to get out of the sun. Good luck finding a bench though, the dedushkas and babushkas claim benches early and post up for half the day. At night, illuminated by multi-colored lights wrapped around the trees, providing the ideal setting for a romantic stroll.

This is a lovely area that is great to walk. You can see many historic biuldings & monuments. The park & the views towards the port are fantastic. The maps in this area also have english descriptions for local attractions, which is not common in the Ukraine.

this street is billed as full of shops & cafes although what i found was loads of bars and restaurants. there were nearly no shops on this street but many in the neighbourhood.

i was unimpressed by the cafe that i stopped at. pastry inedible but tea was tasty.

Walk from the top of the Potemkin Steps to the street leading to the Odesa Opera Hall. Great view of the port of Odesa and two nice parks along the way. Peaceful and shady walk.

Primorsky Boulevard is like a business card of Odessa. Great sea view to one side, great architecture on the other. Not a long walk - approximately 0,5 km one way. Greenery will protect you from sun during the day. Unfortunately I am not a big fun of all light decorations that you will see at night (all trees are decorated wit color garlands.

Definitely my fav place in the city. Talented street artists, endless rows of restaurants, all rounded up by flashy butterflies above your head.

This could have been a nice walking space, but for some reason the locals hung up a bunch of colorful lights, even in the summer, making it look cheap and tasteless.
Occasional bands playing loud music don't help the atmosphere either.

This pretty and wide walking street connects the Potemkin Steps to the Pushkin Monument. It is open and frequented by both locals and tourists. It's the best way to get from the aforementioned places.
