Short: if you visit Kiev, take one evening time to visit the Opera. Buy tickets in the internet (English page is available) print out the very cheap tickets and enjoy the professional orchestra and actors or dancers!

Stunning architecture of this Opera House. It is the best in the world! Royal, elegant, 3 of the same style were built in Vienna, Budapest and Odessa, but the one Odessa is the best.

Visited here in 1990 and caught AIDA, complete with elephants on stage - the works! An amazing experience, still warmly remembered all these years later. Get your photo taken at the "Honeymoon" tree, near the entrance to the opera House.
