A not special place, but nice to be for your first time. If you go to the stairs so go down and get into the port,

There are multiple ways to experience the port of Odessa, and I find a new one every day - from Potomkin Stairs to the sea edge at Nemo.

The port of Odessa is huge but you can enjoy a trip around the bay and channel for around £10 pp worth a relax if you are fed up lying in the sun. The departures are from the quiet side of the port and easy to get to by either local transport or taxi. There are a few bars and... More

I viewed the from a few angles but the most enjoyable was when I was going down the "Steps", lot of them. There are many viewing points along the way to just look out and see what is there. Where I was at, the most imposing building was a very large hotel right on the waters edge. Nice place!! Once... More

Unless you are arriving by ship, don't waste your time to visit the port area. There isn't much to see or do.

I have eaten at one of the restaurants out on the Pier which is nice and you'll see some... More

I decided that when I got to the bootom of the Potempkin steps, I would cross the road and explore the port. I guess it is not like it was, the hotel has been closed for years and the other buildings are having major re-work. There was only one vessel in the yacht club moorings! However, I did see a...
