Deribasovskaya Street is full of pleasant surprises! Lined with many dining choices, it is an ideal place to people watch. Adjacent to the lively street are a few popular sites to have your picture made as a reminder of your visit. In the summer you can hear music from a concert nearby complete with dancers or talented street musicians. 'Deribas'... More

This is the main street in the city centre near the Opera House, Reno Hotel and Moscow Hotel. It's filled with restaurants and cafés on both sides of the pedestrian only street. Great for a stroll alone, in couple or with kids.

Odesa's main commercial street, pedestrian vul Derybasivska, is jam-packed with restaurants, bars and, in the summer high season, tourists. At its quieter eastern end you'll discover the statue of José De Ribas . This illustrious gentlemen – half-Catalan, half-Irish – built Odesa's harbour, so they named a central street after him. At the western end of the thoroughfare is the... More

Avoid basically. Lots of other much nicer places in Odessa. Full of tourists and pony rides. Blaring music. But it does have the lovely city gardens.

Odessa is one of the greenest cities in the world. Healthy mature trees line both sides of every street. Deribasovskaya Street is the center of old world charm and everything you need can be found here. Memorize the street name and spelling so you can impress your friends and family at home :)

Main pedestrian street. Noisy and crowdy in evenings. You will find many restaurants and pubs here. Also there is Odessa market, souvenirs. In my optinio it is more cozy to have dinner more far from all this noise. And promorskij boulevard is more interesting for walking.
