Locally Made Crafts

We like to shop here because the items for sale are made on site by local artisans. They have a good selection of local items. Although they don't barter like many other local sellers, their prices seem fair. We come back here when we visit because we like the experience of shopping here.

Sweet fair trade shop

Manos preciosas is a perfect fair trade gift shop to buy gifts and souvenirs. All the items are carefully crafted and you can feel good about contributing directly to local artisans of Guatemala. The owner (Irma) is helpful and friendly and works hard to provide quality items in her shop. Definitely do not skip this sweet little store.

Great gifts made fair

What a nice little shop! They recycle old textiles to make brightly coloured and beautiful bags. You can also stock up on gifts from bracelets to key chains and pillows.
The project employs local weavers and artisans so you know they are getting paid fairly and you'll take away very authentic items for your home or gifts.

Wonderful shopping experience

I am here for one month In a Spanish immersion program across the street. I was lucky enough to find this place. I compared prices with many other stores and for quality and price they are amazing! Everything is special in the store. All the employees are warm and kind. This is definitely my go-to place for last minute gifts before I leave for home.

A chill place to make some shopping

I live in Guatemala and visit Antigua Guatemala often. The store Manos Preciosas, is a small store with a variety of guatemalan's tipicos. From a bag made out of,tipicos to a brist band with your name on it. Everything is made in Guatemala and it's only two blocks away from the central park. The store even has some rooms on the second floor with: private bathroom, clean beds and hot water for a cheap price.

I totally recommend on checking it out if, you're near by, looking for some gifts to take home or need a place to stay.
