This is by far the best tour I've taken in Antigua. Arianna is an incredible guide. She provides a valuable, honest, easy-to-digest overview of the history of Antigua. Plus she was so flexible with me as I dealt with a variety of travel issues when trying to book. I loved how the tour was set up to take us through the city with quick stops along the way to learn about a specific building or story. Then you have the food! If you have been wanting to taste local food but don't know where to go, take this tour. Arianna takes you to her favorite vendors then sends you the names of the places after the tour so you can go back and indulge in the delicious, inexpensive, dishes. Pepian, pupusas, chorizo, local candy - all amazing. I would recommend this to anyone who loves food and learning about this awesome city, whether you are a first-time visitor or not. I've been to Antigua several times and can't believe I haven't taken this before. Thank you, Arianna!

We had a fantastic experience with the Taste of Antigua street food tour. Arianna was very knowledgeable about the history and the delicious foods Guatemala has to offer. I definitely recommend the food tour to anyone that wants to have an authentic and fun experience.

Highly recommend this tour. My husband and I were lucky enough to have Adrianna to ourselves for the tour and she was an excellent host. We sampled some tasty traditional Guatemalan foods and learned a lot about Antigua and Guatemala in the process. During the tour Arianna gave us recommendations for restaurants for dinner and after the tour sent us a message with a summary of where we had been during the tour - so helpful!

Market and Street Food tour with Taste of Antigua were a wonderful introduction to life in Guatemala. More than a food tour, the market tour was a wonderful insight into the idiosyncracies of life in Guatemala. A somewhat chaotic labryrinth of corridors lined with everything from clothing to freshly butchered meats, we interacted with locals and vendors bartering for their daily needs. Interesting and different fruits and produce to sample. The Street Food tour was a delicious glimpse of Guatemalan staple food and offered insights to local culture and customs. Different than what you might expect if you are familiar with Mexican cuisine, Guatemalan cuisine is delicious, fresh and worthy of recognition. This was an immensly enjoyable and educational day I truly hope to repeat in the near future.

I hardly write reviews but felt this was worth it. My wife and 3 kids visited Antigua over the New Year and took the Sunset Tour with Arianna. First, let me say Antigua is beautiful and has great eats but it takes a local to point you in the right direction. I wish we did the tour our first day there instead of our last. Arianna is a wealth of information and can provide places for your to eat more aligned to what you are looking for, then if you just went out on your own. Arianna took us to 3 different places along with a Rum stop. Our kids decided to crash and burn during the first place so we dropped them off at the hotel and met Arianna at the second place. Along with the food being excellent, she provides the context and history around it, which brings to life the story and flavors. We've come to find out that the others really don't take you to authentic Guatemalan eateries. Taste Antigua is really the only true local food touring company. In addition, we didn't come away so stuffed that it was uncomfortable. We were pleasantly full. If you want a real authentic Guatemalan food experience you need to book with her.
