Antigua, Guatemala
About Impact Experiences by Ninos De Guatemala
Niños de Guatemala is a nonprofit organization that offers a unique opportunity to get off the beaten tourist path and see first-hand cultural & adventure sights. Experience Antigua, Guatemala, a UNESCO world heritage site, as well as the abundant Guatemalan countryside. Our experiences consist of visiting local, non-touristic towns with activities such as worry-doll making, chicken bus tours, culinary tours, cultural and historic walking tours, coffee and chocolate tours, and volunteering for a day at the schools of the nonprofit. We also offer national tours to Tikal, Iximche, Lake Atitlán, and much more. Niños de Guatemala Tours is a social enterprise donating 100% of profits back to the education of over 500 children in Guatemala who could otherwise not go to school.

I booked a tour with Niños de Guatemala while staying in Antigua because I found their offer interesting from a cultural perspective and I found their work worth supporting with a donation. I ended up having a guide just for myself because nobody else had signed up for the day.
