There's nothing to particularly do here and as comes with most central plazas, there are a lot of people hassling you. At night it feels particularly awkward due to lots of homeless people and undesirables milling around so I wouldn't recommend a girl walking through...More

You'll find that most places in Central America will take U.S. currency but you will most likely get a better conversion rate if you have the countries local currency ( Guatemala Quetzal)
