We offer a variety of cultural, adventure and ecotourism tour packages in Guatemala with exciting itineraries designed for individual visitors, small and large groups. Due to our many years of experience in the travel industry, we offer competitive prices with no compromise on quality. We are highly recommended by our customers on Trip Advisor an award that recognizes the quality of our services and hard work and dedication of our team. In 2016, we decided to change our company name to Voltan Adventures. Voltan is the Mayan God of the Earth NOT to be confused with Votan (the Mayan God of War). Over the years our company has developed a stellar reputation as one of the best tour operators within Guatemala. Because our base of operations is at Lake Atitlan and our former company name was Tours Atitlan some people would confuse our company with a competitor whose name is similar. We noticed a trend. Numerous tour operators were incorporating the lake into their company name and this was leading to much confusion. Because our company is Mayan owned and locally operated we decided it would be best to embrace our culture and take a more distinctive name where there can be no confusion. So welcome to Voltan Adventures. To read about our company’s past reviews please see our customers Trip Advisor reviews under our old company name: Tours Atitlan, and after your trip with us, please post a review under our new name so we can begin a new tradition!

We enjoyed our tour of Tikal and Lago Atitlán greatly! Our guides, Noé and Domingo, were very knowledgable and passionate. Our driver Jairo was excellent as well, very flexible and easy to talk to. I encourage you to set up a private, personalized tour with them! Thanks to Isaias and Pedro for organizing everything!

A few hours in San Antonio and Santa Caterina. Fabulous guide. Great narrative to add to our experience at the lake.

Isaias Soliz is a lovely guide. I was with a small group of friends who are avid birders and Isaias charmed and wowed us with a bird packed 4 hours. Native species were found, framed for pictures, habitats for the migrating birds too were his specialty. Excellent English speaker, calm manner, good pace. We had a lovely time.

I found out about Tours Atitlan just a few days before our scheduled trip to Guatemala and contacted Pedro with a ton of questions about day trips and tours near Lake Atitlan. he was very responsive and offered a range of activities to suit our interests. We booked two trips with the company and we were completely satisfied with every... More

My good friend and I visited Lake Atitlan in front of a mission construction trip we were meeting up with. I contacted Tours Adventure Atitlan to assist us with all of our logistics (transportation, hotel, and tours). They did not let us down on any of these services! In fact, they were above and beyond on all. From the start... More

Isaias only get better and better. He is so connected with the culture of the villages along the lake and his ability to gauge the particular needs of a group are finely tuned. Our entire group of 15 writers loved him. for the birding, he was able to help us find 17 different varieties of birds in less than 2... More

We had a great morning with Isaias birding around Lake Atitlan. We had already spent a few days there on our own, but he was quick and we were able to add even more new birds to our list. Excellent guide. Prepared. Bilingual. Fun!

My wife and I recently stayed at Lake Atitilan with the intentions of doing some birding and hiking. We had heard good things about Pedro, TAA's owner, and we attempted to book him on short notice to go birding. Unfortunately, he was not available, but he hooked us up with his younger brother, Isaias, and that turned out to be... More

My mom and I spent a full day with Isaias ("Chai") as he showed us all the ins and out of the Chichicastenango market place. We had just flown in from California the afternoon before and Chai was our first full taste of Guatemalan hospitality. He set the bar so high for the rest of our week long trip together.... More

We booked a private day tour with Tours Atitlan. Our tour boat arrived promptly at our hotel's dock and we met our guide Deena and boat pilot Andreas. Our day visiting San Juan and Santiago was perfectly organized. Deena was completely focused on what WE wanted to see and experience, not what she wanted us to do. Our day was... More
