I haven't been there lately, but it has many artifacts, etc, One of them is a picture of me in their basement, which has a lot of the history of Adrian. Back in the day of the "Spelling Bee" contests , where all the County schools participated, I was the winner for 2 years in a row, which was quite an accomplishment of a 12 & 13 yr. old. They have my picture there w/ the trophy and my teacher. That would be from 1948 and '49. But there is much, much more to see there than that pic of me :-)

Been here many many times over the years and every trip I find something new and interesting.
It is a busy busy local museum so there are just little bits of things all over the place.
BUT let me tell you, they do have a couple of real GEMS in there !!!!!
Staff is great and very very knowledgeable about local history and the items in their collection.
Building is a beautiful historical piece in it's own right.
If you like local style museums with some real gems inside ... this is a quality museum !!!

Many things to see from maps, merillat cabinets, and other things made in the county or part of Lenawee history. Two floors so it may take an hour or so to see everything. Liked the police exhibit and the telephone operator exhibit as my parents worked for the local telephone company. Brought back memories.

This museum is so organized, neat and clean. Great gentleman in there who would demonstrate things and gave us quite a bit of knowledge of items. We didn't have enough time to see it all. Give yourself a few hours. There is no charge to see the museum. They have a jar for donations.

The museum has many exhibits highlighting known and unknown aspects of the history of this County. The exhibits are interesting, and guides are there to take you through them and explain and answer your questions. Hurry before the police exhibit leaves!!!!

I'm a little biased as a frequent visitor, but they have two floors of really interesting history around Lenawee County. I find the most enjoyment in the basement archives where they have vital information and photos to search through.

Each exhibit is amazing, especially those with artifacts from different eras, and photographs of historical figures.

This hidden gem in Adrian is well worth a visit. They have some of the most unique items I have ever seen. The only reason that I did not give 5 stars is because they have a lot and some you can not truly see because of items in front of others.
