Haven’t played here in 21 years(2002) and really couldn’t remember any particular holes. So I was way overdue to play here again. After 2-4 inches of rain the last few days it was cart path only so the “dynamic “ pricing had us seniors at $30 each which is very close to what we paid at Saskatoon and the Mines recently. So we got our share of walking and most required a healthy walk from parking to greens. We were trying to play cart paths golf.

Very good condition even extremely wet. Doesn’t drain very well for a modern course. But the wife and I had no one in front of us until the 15th. It took us 4 hours with all the walking.
For some reason it took me 21 years to come back here, nothing extremely memorable but every hole consistently similar to previous. Not tricked up and see most every shot. Very large greens.
I don’t know if we will be back too quick unless we can get similar pricing but I doubt it. Dynamic to means to me they can charge whatever they want and for retired folks that don’t set well.
But we had a splendid time together on a windy 45 degree early spring Masters week day!
Pick your tee carefully

I've been a member here for several years now. Love the course and the staff. The last couple of years the tee times are to close together. There seems to be a league or an outing every weeknight and weekend. Slow play with no sign of a ranger. There should be times daily for members only. Carts should be mandatory. A few tweeks like going back to 10 minute tee times instead of 8 might help things too. This is a great course, but it could certainly learn a lot from Thousand Oaks.

Conditions are always solid even though it gets lots of play. They keep the greens rolling quick and true. Lots of great holes here where you can pull every club in your bag. Only one bad hole, #5. For the money I think it's a good deal. I belong to local club and don't very often play public courses but this is one I'll find myself at at least once a season.

Wedding parties beware!!!!!
The manager Julie ended up being a complete bi-ch. We had a small wedding reception of 50 people.. We paid /plate. So be very careful when you hand over your money because per plate means no one is allowed to go up for seconds etc. we paid for 8 kids and only 4 ate. The mother of the bride was holding her grand baby so the bride could eat and was waiting patiently for someone to take the baby. But before she could even get up to the food table they started to tear it down. Yes they took all of the plates, silverware etc. I guess it was so no one could sneak a plate. So when the mother of the bride went up she was in awe that they were cleaning up. They waited less than 5 min after what they thought was the last person went thru. I approached Julie (manager) regarding the issue and she was a very harsh person and ultimately told me she would not discuss the issue with me. Me being the master of ceremony and uncle to the bride, also walked her down the isle. She literally walked away from me. I was just trying to clarify why the food couldn't stay out a bit longer. She insistently stated the food was not ours, there will be no seconds and everyone had their chance to eat. Oh btw she took the horderves away in the same manor. It was unbelievable . Great way to ruin a reception. To add insult to injury the golfers kept coming in the hall doors to use the bathroom walking right in front of the DJ , SERIOUSLY! I will never return and am warning you all beware of Quail Ridge and especially Julie. One positive comment is the 2 young men helping were awesome. I would hire them to work for me.

Played 18 holes with the rental clubs. Beautiful course and really would love to play again and again with my own clubs as distance control (lay ups and distances into greens is important here).

Wide fairways but if you miss them your ball is probably lost. Bunkers were in great shape (I found 4). Greens tough but I suspect having your own clubs and some local knowledge would address that.

Speed of play. Held up a little on the front nine even after the 2 ball in front of us joined the 2 ball in front of them. We dragged our feet a bit on the back but kept pace. Local knowledge would help with pace.

The layout is not particularly challenging and due to being located very close to a major international airport and nearly on top of a major freeway, the constant distractions from the low flying jets literally right over your head and the considerable noise from the semi’s and car traffic from the highway are very annoying and distracting at best.

I played a few holes on this course with 2 friends and enjoyed every minute. We got rained out but was worth the trip I was -2 after 8 holes before we quit, then I was +5 at the bar in the clubhouse.. I did book online and their system didn’t load my tee times in so that was a drawback..
If you ever get a chance try this track you will be glad you did..

This course was in outstanding shape and readily accommodated the twelve of us (three foursomes) on a busy Friday afternoon. The clubhouse and bar staff (as well as their on-course personalities) were top notch and made for a most pleasant round of golf and after party.

We had 3 foursomes in our group teeing off on a Friday morning. Beautiful and challenging course. Carts were newer and kept very clean. Staff was friendly. Nice menu choices at the clubhouse.
