We've been visiting the Vineyard every summer for years and each year we try to do something new. This experience far exceeded my expectations! We learned so much about Oysters, ocean farming and marine life in general! Sunset was amazing! I tried my first oyster on this tour; it doesn't get better than trying straight out of the ocean! I expected that each of us would have only a few oysters but there were more than we could all eat! I was blown away.. Farm Field Sea were the perfect hosts serving crackers and crab dip, mussels and sparkling and flat water while we made our way to the farm and doing everything they could to make the evening enjoyable. The pirate ship crew did an amazing job as well. I really enjoyed seeing Vineyard Haven Harbor from the boat; we got a great tour of the boats in the harbor before returning to Oak Bluffs. Truly something for everyone on this tour! We all had a wonderful night - I will never forget the experience I shared with my family! We can only hope to have the opportunity to do this again next year!…

What a wonderful time Great for all ages. It was so much fun being out on the water at sunset. We learned all about oysters, got to meet some oyster famers and taste their delicious product. I would highly recommend this tour

Farm.Field.Sea's Oyster Farm Tour is not to be missed!!! This 2.5hr experience is unlike any other on the island. First a local biologist, Rick, gave an incredibly informative talk about shellfishing on Martha's Vineyard on the sail out to the farm. While he was talking there were yummy snacks provided to munch on. Once we reached the farm, the farmer-brother duo shared their story of how they became farmers on the island, all while shucking the freshest oysters I've ever had! The rest of the night was spent sipping our drinks (The tour was BYOB with a package store conveniently located on the dock), slurping oysters, chatting away with the other passengers, and watching a magical vineyard sunset. Nevette & FFS has planned an awesome event!…

Wanting to do something "different" during our two weeks on the Island, we signed up for the aquaculture tour to the Cottage City Oyster Farm and a pop-up dinner, menu and location unknown!! WOW! Did we have two wonderful evenings and meet some terrific people! The Farm Field Sea folks have hit upon a great way to showcase the aqua- and agri-culture of Martha's Vineyard. The multi-course dinner for 180+ was prepared and served outdoors on a beautiful evening. The Pirate Boat trip to the oyster beds took place while the sun was setting and our return was in the twilight so we watched the East Chop lights go on as we passed the lighthouse and headed to the Oak Bluff Harbor. We highly recommend either of these events--preferably, BOTH!…
