My partner and I recently spent a weekend at Martha's Vineyard and rented bikes from All Star Bike Rentals in Oak Bluffs for one day. The people working there were very friendly and helpful, and the all-day rental was only $30. They also provided helmets.

My husband and I rented ebikes from All Star today and had a wonderful experience. I called a day ahead to reserve the bikes over the phone. I actually left a message and received a call back from Robert within 5 minutes, and with a few questions (ebike or regular, length of rental, height) had 2 bikes reserved. The Gazelle ebikes we rented are amazing- I have a Gazelle at home and the quality is top notch. The bikes were in excellent condition (they looked brand new), rode well, and have extremely good battery range. The shop is close to the ferry in Oak Bluffs and extremely efficient in getting people set up with their bikes and on the road quickly. The rental included a helmet, basket, and lock for the bike- everything you need. For inexperienced ebike riders, MV is an excellent place to give it a shot, and the only downside to renting a Gazelle bike from Robert is that you'll want to buy one when you return home!

Best bike rental on the island - if you are planning a trip to Martha’s Vineyard I would highly recommend booking or renting your bikes with All Star. They have 2 convenient locations in Oaks Bluff and Vineyard Haven but will also deliver and drop off anywhere on the island. The equipment is up to date and good quality and the team is friendly and professional. Most of the staff are local and can advise on best routes or suggestions to make you trip more enjoyable. The business is run by a local father son team and seem to they truly care about their clients

This place has the BEST customer service and the BEST location on the island (steps from the ferry) with the BEST bikes and equipment. I have been coming to the island for over 40 years and discovered this gem of a shop a few years ago. We have rented both regular and electric bikes. The electric bikes are my favorite because you can cover so much more ground. Robert and his staff went above and beyond to make our trip an enjoyable adventure. I highly recommend them!

Chose all-star bikes in Oak Bluffs based on reviews and found them to be true! Went straight from ferry to the convenient bike store and got two e bikes. The staff had our bikes correctly sized in a minute and he walked us thru a map and places to see on route to Edgartown. Bikes were in great shape, and easy to ride into strong head winds! Great experience, and great treatment from the store and it’s staff! Will rent here again

The bike shop is in a perfect location 2 minutes from the Oak Bluffs ferry terminals and all the staff are well trained and helpful.
Bob and his team were very helpful setting us up e-bikes which I had never used before. You can just peddle normally or use the electric assist for hills, long stretches or if you just get tired. You can “dial in” the amount of assist you want from the electric motor, it can really move at top speed! It was helpful for a really hot day to and from Edgartown.
I wasn’t sure about using an electric bike since I still wanted the exercise, but I am sold on these bikes. I plan on renting here when I return in September.

I can’t recommend All Star MV Bikes highly enough. Robert is full service. He outfitted us with five bikes, delivered them to our rental, and even replaced one (within minutes!) when my daughter’s bike got a flat tire. He is quick with a smile, genuine conversation, and even restaurant recommendations (Porto Pizza!). Robert is a gem and so is his shop! Thanks Robert-Mike! Julie G.

Fabulous bike rental company. Really accommodating and understanding staff. Our little fellow was not able to continue on the bike trailer so we brought it back. They immediately offered a refund for both bicycles and trailer. Lovely equipment and very professional and kind staff. Lovely experience.

Outstanding service at this welcoming family-run business. Everyone was eager for us to have the best possible experience and to help in every way. We reserved well in advance, and Robert got back to us promptly with confirmation—and he was equally quick to respond when we changed our plans.
All Star provided us with a map and suggestions for the best routes, made sure our helmets and bikes fit us properly, and recommended the Seafood Shanty in Edgartown, which was a perfect lunch spot. (The Oak Bluffs to Edgartown bike path is an excellent ride, especially for less-athletic bikers—it’s paved and flat.) Best of all, they assured us that if we had a flat tire or other trouble, they’d come rescue us, which was highly reassuring (and thankfully not necessary).

We stayed at the Surfside Hotel in September 2020 and brought our own bikes over on the ferry. We needed some air in the tires before a longer ride and the All Star team was extremely gracious in helping us out. They even gave us maps and a great recommendation for lunch overlooking the water in Edgartown. We're returning to Martha's Vineyard soon and will actually be renting bikes from All Star this time!

The bike company will provide maps. The bikes were really nice and the cost to rent were nominal. Think we paid around $120.00 for five bikes for a full day.
