Quick stop to look at the neat architecture and take in a classic old style library. The park like setting around the building is very relaxing and beautiful.

The library is a photo attraction and even nicer on the inside than the outside. The White building caught my attraction immediately with the blue sky a nice eye catcher. Inside is a up-to-date library with friendly librarians and a grand piano in the second...More

If you are visiting Nantucket you must explore the Nantucket Atheneum which is a functioning public library chock full of history and art. You can see where Frederick Douglas gave his first abolition speech to an integrated audience. Totally work it!

I heard they had free wifi so I went inside, but I was so mesmerized by the old building I wound up walking through all the floors and looking around instead.
