My friend and I took the dirt road down toward Tom Nevers beach and came out at a place where the sign warned erosion prevented us from accessing the beach -- we were high up on a cliff and couldn't get down to the water....More

Not easy to get to, but worth the trip. Clean, great waves at times and generally quiet. Seals all around and no problem parking. No bathroom facilities.

1 hour on the beach a peaceful setting to relax and feel like taking a major vacation. Great spot to visit. Houses in Nantucket are quaint and so cozy.

Tom Nevers beach is by far one of the best beaches on the island. Not too crowded, the views cannot be matched and the people you meet are as friendly as can be. Definitely one of the most peaceful places. Great beach for throwing some...More

Went here on a cloudy, windy day and ended up the only people as far as we could see on the beach. The area is quite residential and the restrooms there are of the non-flushing kind. But the views can't be beat.

This part of Nantucket on the far south shoar is simply beautiful and peaceful. Stay with family friends and enjoyed the serenity and the sounds of the ocean. Highly recommend checking out the area. AirBNB perhaps.

You definitely need 4 wheel drive to get to this beach because of the very deep pot holes. Once you do, it is so quiet and clean swimming. We saw seals and even a whale!

You have to travel a bit, but if you find it, it will be uncrowded. Not easy to bike to. Great long stretches of beaches. It is the ocean side so waves are bigger and more rip tides so be careful. Great for picnics, no...More

It was nice, but there wasn't anything unique about any of the facilities provided. Down Tom Nevers Road, just outside of Nantucket.

We rented a house for a week with extended family and had alot of 'together' time. Late one afternoon toward the end of our trip we rode our bikes up/down Tom Nevers and got to the beach area. It was a gorgeous day and there...More

This is a great question. I would suggest doing some online research and then look simultaneously at AB&B to find a spot.
