Great place to watch the sunset!

This was a nice beach to watch the beautiful Nantucket sunset. It is a convenient walk from the downtown area.

Worth a walk to have a look at this lighthouse. Very good swimming nearby on the Children's Beach where the water gets deeper a bit quicker than at Jetties.

Walk through really nice neighbor hood to arrive. A must visit place for a quick photo and look around at the views. Apparently a place for locals to fish from for food. That part a little different for what you experience on the rest of the island. Requires a short walk through he sand to get to walk leading up... More

Walkong to the lighthouse I wondered why it recieved a #3 rank among Nantucket attractions. It is small and undaunting. After reading other's reviews I too agree that it it THE landmark for the island and that, even though small, provides a picturesque backdrop.

We couldn't go inside this lighthouse but the structure itself is worth seeing. The surrounding beach area makes for a nice little walk and I picked up some shells on our walk.

Oh, wow, what can I say! This lighthouse is probably the first landmark you see if you take the ferry to Nantucket. It is not very high, nor is it on a high bluff or cliff, but it is really a beautiful lighthouse. What's more, it is also a wonderful place to see sunset -- we were told that the... More

Thou small, it is understandable why this lighthouse is famous. Beautiful views paired with a sunny day will make your trip to this lighthouse worthwhile!

Great location to watch the boats come and go. A bit of a walk from where we parked, but it was a perfect location for a family picnic.

We always make the short trek from downtown Nantucket out to the Brant Point Light! ( it's the light house one sees coming into Nantucket harbor by ferry). 20 minutes on leisurely roads bordered by perfectly trimmed hedges and beautiful Nantucket "cottages" lived in by the likes of Secretary of State John Kerry... Once at the point, one can watch... More

This is my favorite place on the island . This place is perfect for taking wonderful photographs . This is the scene of many weddings . In the summer many weddings happen in this place.
