There is grass to play on and safe water to swim in. Also plenty of well planned vacation activities on the calendar to keep all the kids happy

Children's Beach is a block or two from the Steamship Ferry and town. It's got swings, green grass, a bandstand, picnic tables, and a beach. I wouldn't be too keen on having my kids swim here for any length of time because you're swimming in the same water as the town dock and boats - including the ferry - probably... More

This beach is close to town and was right down the street from the inn I was staying. It's small but perfect if you want to spend beach time with young children, as the name implies. Besides the sand, it has a lovely park area with a playground and even a little café that serves child friendly eats. It's even... More

During the off season this beach is a great place to just sit and relax for some quiet time. There are benches for you to enjoy the beautiful view.

The beach and playground are pretty. The kids enjoyed playing and running on the lawn but the beach hardly qualifies as a beach. Nice for a quick stop.

Just a stone away from famous White Elephant as its view and also the Nantucket Yacht Club in a close distance, a good place for kids.

Children's Beach is not a big walk from town - it is just to the left of the Steamboat Ferry Line docking area. It is very small, and lots of boats are anchored just beyond the ropes. You have the feeling that you must be surrounded by boat fuel, but you really aren't. It is indeed great for children -... More

Great spot for kids. Sand is clean, water is calm, boats everywhere and the people are so friendly. There's a small cafe, playground and field to play in as well. Perfect for our young son who didn't llike the "noise" of the waves on other beaches. Parking can be difficult.
