The tour company was very good and Miki was VERY accommodating. We took another tour with this company that was 5+ stars. However, the guide on this tour was so bad, that it literally crushed my dreams. I had been wanting to go to Kosovo for years and had done tons of research on Prishtina. I really had no desire to go to Prizren and instead asked to go to the Bear Sanctuary outside of Prishtina, which Miki said would be fine. (The Bear Sanctuary was awesome!). I had a number of things I wanted to see in Prishtina, but didn't think to tell Miki, assuming that they were typical things to see there. My mistake. The guide was from the Prizren area and knew nothing about Prishtina. Therefore, I didn't get to see things that were my most wanted attractions. For example, he wouldn't take us into the National Library (which is the #1 thing to see there!). He had no idea what the Goddess of the Throne was and wouldn't take me to the museum to see it. He refused to let us go into any souvenirs stores, etc. I was SO disappointed. He rushed us through Prishtina so much, we had to ask to stop the car to get a photo of the Clinton statue (and we're Americans!). Then he dragged us all over Prizren, harping on Muslim customs, which we already knew from our prior trip to Turkey. He was so tied to his time schedule and script that finally we couldn't take it anymore and asked to end the tour early. I am kicking myself that I wasn't more forceful in Prishtina, but he just kept vetoing everything (including a stop to get water!). Our cell service died the minute we crossed the border into Kosovo, so we were dependant on him to get us back to our driver. So we were stuck. Our driver Robert was FANTASTIC! But beware if you get Damir. If you have anything in particular you want to see, you might not get to see it.
