Youth Cultural Center is the really good place where you can have a nice time. Here you can enjoy in some concert if you have a luck to catch one and nice food in the restaurant. And the location is on the quay of Vardar

I visited this venue for last month's Gogol Bordello show; it's difficult to find on the map, but turned out to be just across the river from Shanti Hostel where we were staying so that was convenient - it's maybe a fifteen minute walk from the main square. We didn't have tickets in advance but there were plenty left on the door despite it being a fairly small venue. If you pause downstairs by the popup bar on your way in, you can score yourself a free shot of Smirnoff if you pose for a photo next to a backdrop.

The drinks at the main bar upstairs weren't too expensive, but they didn't have water at all which annoyed my friend. The bar is more expensive than most of the other bars in the city, but cheap compared to Western European bar standards - especially for a gig. The venue seemed oddly empty throughout most of the show, which was weird after a sold-out night in a much larger venue the previous night in Beograd, but the sound quality was decent enough and the venue staff friendly. The bar remained open for a while after the show too, which is always a bonus.
