We booked one of their tours called food by foot in Skopje. We got to try traditional dishes and beverages in a few different places in Skopje for only 25€. Tour took around 3,5h. Tour guide was nice, easygoing and knew a lot about the city so other than food we also got some interesting facts about the city and country. Even during the pandemic all the places we went to were open.

I was a solo traveler who went on a day tour from Skopje, North Macedonia, to Prizren, Kosovo, with Vlad. Vlad is a fantastic tour guide. He has a wealth of knowledge. He is professional and friendly. It was a pleasure to go on this tour with him. On the way to and from Prizren, we talked a lot about the history of the two countries and the day-to-day realities of living in North Macedonia. It was an illuminating conversation for me. In Prizren, Vlad explained the history of the city and showed me important landmarks and discussed their significance. We walked around the center, ending our tour at the Beska restaurant, which is a nice place to eat and relax. I highly recommend this day trip for a glimpse into Kosovo and to see the charming Prizren, a cultural center of the country.

We did two tours with this company. Ohrid and 🇽🇰 kosovo. Ohrid I would recommend you spend more than one day or approach from Greece. It takes a long time to get there from skopje and the toll booths slow you down, at least a dozen each way. Kosovo tour is really good, we went to prizren and Pristina, hit everything on the list plus saw a monastery on the way in another town. I highly recommend the kosovo tour, you will not be disappointed.

We bought a private Ohrid tour from this agency, the tour and our guide Vladimir was absolutely wonderful. He gave very valuable informations about Ohrid and about Macedonia in general. The places we saw were absolutely stunning and the recommended restaurant was also great. I recommend %100.

Great private day trip in Skopje, to Millennium Cross and old 12th century monastry, with private guide and driver Smiley (what his name was). Well done, good stories and information. I recommend him as your private tourguide and driver. Have a good day!

I completed the full day tour (Including the Millennium Cross and Matka Canyon) with the accompaniment of my 2 tour guides Mesha and Viktor. I am a mid twenties Australian currently on a holiday in Skopje. The experience was by far one of the best tours I have had the privilege to take. The level of local knowledge provided by my tour guides was extensive as well as their English as I do not speak any second languages. They were friendly, helpful and great to have as guides around the local sights and marketplaces.
One of the benefits of their full tour is the chance to visit the Millennium Cross and Matka Canyon. The Canyon is a MUST SEE. Being personally driven to these locations, as part of the tour, is what differs from some of the other tours available and what makes the Skopje Full Day Tour such an experience.
I highly recommend SkopjeDailyTours for anybody wanting to visit Skopje

We got picked up just before 9 as agreed and we were happy to see that our guide for the day would once again be Naum who had been such an excellent guide on our trip to Skopje and the Matka Canyon. He had once again gotten us water and energy bars for the trip, we headed to our first stop park Galičica as we did so we passed the Bay of Bones which we had been planning to visit. Naum was kind enough to suggest we take a small detour as we were near and visit before continuing into the park. After the Bay of Bones we did indeed continue to the park Galičica where we stopped a number of times to take in the view before continuing towards Bitola passed Lake Prespa. We visited the Heraclea Lyncestis before reaching Bitola. Through all of this journey Naum took excellent care of us told us many things about the country in general the regions we passed through and attractions saw as well as answering any questions. We could not have wished for a better guide, when we visit Macedonia again we`ll be sure to contact Naum!

We had our tour on Wednesday 1st June. We booked the full day tour and met at Macedonian gate the next morning. The tour guide ( which we can't remember the name of) was very informative, humorous and knowledgeable. He answered all of the question asked with explained answers and gave us a good sense of the culture of Macedonia. We would highly recommend this trip to anybody visiting Skopje for a short period of time as we managed to see the majority of the major attractions in the city in only 8 Hours without feeling rushed. This trip is suitable for both the young and active older people because there is a fair bit of walking. Lot of breaks available. The morning was packed with lots of walking around Skopje whilst the afternoon was more relaxed.

I was lucky enough to have a day tour booked with Skopje Daily Tours during my visit to the beautiful capital city of Macedonia.

Before I get started I want to say that if you're having any doubts about booking with Skopje Daily Tours you should book with them RIGHT now. Honestly, they're one of the best, most professional and knowledgeable tour companies I've ever worked with and the tour I had with Viktor was the best tour I've had in all of Europe.

Ok, let's get into a more in-depth review.

The tour that I booked was a full day tour of Skopje and it included to side trips to the Matka Canyon and the old Roman Aqueduct.

It started very early in the day, at nine in the morning, and I didn't get dropped off back at my hotel until nearly 6 PM. Viktor was my tour guide (best tour guide ever BTW) and if you book a tour with them I recommend asking for him. If it wasn't for Viktor I don't think I would have had nearly as good a time in Skopje and it was his amazing personality, epic knowledge of Skopje and its history and just his all around positive and happy attitude that made the day tour so wonderful.

We started off exploring the newer downtown of Skopje. As we walked around Viktor continued to point out many different cool features of the city, historical facts and other things that I never would have discovered if it wasn't for him. This continued for most of the day and by the time I got dropped off I probably could have written a book about Skopje with everything I learned from Viktor.

After exploring the newer part of the city we stopped for a quick coffee break and spent a short period of time getting to know each other better. When it was time to leave Viktor even picked up the coffee bill, which totally surprised me and even further proves how wonderful of a guy Viktor really is. At this point we headed into the Old Town where Viktor showed me even more of Skopje. As we were walking through the city streets it seems that every few moments someone would stop us and start talking with Viktor - I think he’s probably one of the most popular and well-liked people in Skopje because everyone was happy to see him and they all greeted us very kindly.

We made our way to the Kale Fortress, which we only visited for a short while, and then Viktor drove us to the old Roman Aqueduct just outside of the city centre. This stop isn't typically included on the tour but I specifically asked to visit it and the company had no problem accommodating my unusual request. The aqueduct was awesome and we had entire place to ourselves. We spent a little while there and then made our way up to the Millennium Cross.

Our visit to the Millennium Cross was short but very memorable. The views of the city down below are incredible and the cross is one of the most impressive things in all of Skopje. On the way there Viktor even pointed out the street that he lived on and it was nice to get a more personal sense of who he was. After leaving the Millennium Cross we then headed to one of the oldest and most picturesque monasteries in Macedonia. On the inside there were some very beautiful frescoes and I was pleased that I was able to visit because it's not somewhere that you can easily reach on your own. Viktor continued to impress me with his knowledge and it seemed that he knew everything there was to know when it came to any of the questions I had about Skopje and its history, culture and people.

Finally, we made our way to the famous Matka Canyon. This was one of the highlights of the whole day tour and once again another place that I wouldn't have been able to visit on my own. There was a beautiful little restaurant inside the canyon where we were able to have dinner and rather than eat with my girlfriend and I Viktor opted to give us some privacy so we were able to have a private and romantic dinner with an incredible view of the canyon above.

It was now time to head back after our dinner and even on the way home Viktor continued to give us more helpful tips and information for the next day that we had to spend in the city. Overall, if you're looking for the best day tour in Skopje I highly recommend booking with Skopje Daily Tours and I suggest that you personally request Viktor as your guide.

One more thing, we also used the tour company for our airport transfers. The transfer was on time, quick and we didn't run into any issues at all getting to or getting from the airport. Our driver was Alexander and he was a wonderful young man who set a positive tone for the entirety of the trip. He had a few great stories to tell us and it only went to show that everyone working for Skopje Daily Tours is super nice and friendly.

I definitely recommend Skopje Daily Tours - you won’t be let down!

During our recent trip to Skopje, my boyfriend and I booked a Private Full Day Tour with Skopje Daily Tours. We both agreed that this was by far the best tour that we have ever experienced!

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Skopje. I knew very little of the city prior to my visit and since I was only there for a couple days, this tour was the perfect introduction to the surrounding areas. It made me fall in love with Macedonia!

Our tour guide, Viktor, was personable, funny and intelligent. He is a professional photographer and his work is featured on many Skopje postcards sold throughout the city. He was kind enough to provide each of us with one of his postcards as a gift. We thought he was a very cool guy!

Viktor met us at our hotel at 9 in the morning and took us on a thorough walking tour of downtown Skopje and the old town. He was able to point out many hidden quirks of Skopje, like the "city walls", the market and the many speciality shops in the bazaar. He even took us for a quick coffee overlooking the river.

We had a quick visit to the Fortress Kale before getting into the car for the second part of our full day tour. As per our special request, Viktor drove us to the Skopje Aqueduct, which is only a few kilometres outside of the city centre. We were able to get some nice photos of this place and enjoyed the detour very much.

We drove to Mount Vodno, where we took the cable car up to the Millenium Cross. Although a large group of students arrived at the same time as us, Viktor made sure that we were first in line. We had about 15 minutes at the cross to walk around. This is a very beautiful area and was possibly the highlight of the day!

We also visited the Church of St. Panteleimon, a 12th century Byzantine church located in a monastery complex about 15 minutes outside of the city. We were both very impressed by the beautiful frescoes. and Viktor's detailed explanations. I found Viktor's explanations to be particularly interesting and enjoyed learning that the saints and kings on the frescoed walls had their eyes scratched out by the Ottomans!

We finished the day with a visit to Canyon Matka, which is a very serene and beautiful place close to Skopje. We all went for a short walk and then my boyfriend and I were left to a very romantic dinner in a restaurant overlooking the canyon. This was included in the tour and the food was absolutely delicious!

This tour will be what I remember when I think of my time in Skopje! It was the perfect experience and it comes with my highest recommendation. When I come back to Macedonia, I will absolutely book another tour with Skopje Daily Tours, or their sister company, Ohrid Daily Tours, as this area of Macedonia seems very special!

We also used Skopje Daily Tours for our airport transfers, both of which ran very smoothly. Our driver, Alexander was a nice guy, always on time and with a happy face!
