Visible even from the top of Mount Vodno, this church is recognisable by its series of arches. Outside there is a fountain; inside there are golden icons and a huge chandelier.

Unfortunately we did not enter, but only passed besides while waiting at traffic lights. Is situated beside the main boulevard and I think near main square. It looked gorgeous!

Macedonian people seem to take religion quite seriously and there are loads of churches there. This one is the biggest, and is moderately interesting.

This is a really big church, the biggest one in Skopje. It is not in the historical center, but it's right next to it. It's quite beautiful, from the outside and the inside. Defenetly worth a visit if you're in Skopje.

We were walking to downtown Skopje, passed the church and decided to go in for a look. The church is not set up for tourists so you sort of have to figure things out on your own. The inside of the church is beautiful and peaceful. It was a fun stop.

We were lucky to attend a mass in the early morning with only 3 worshippers, a priest, and a man chanting. It was beautiful. The icons within were vibrant and lovely. There is still ongoing construction to the church.

I have nothing against new structures, especially gracious ones, but Ohrid is so full of exceptional old churches, that I don't understand the need for a 'copy'. I much prefer St.Bogorodica Perivlepta. the advantage of St Clement is that it sits by the lake and it is a very peaceful place with great views.
