What I liked about Skopje is their effort to make the city visit-able. And this square encompasses all their effort. The buildings surrounding it are still being constructed, but their national pride hero, Alexander Macedon already has a huge statue in the middle of it....More
You couldn't avoid Macedonia Square if you tried. It's at the heart of the city with the statue of Alexander the Great towering over it.
