The Old Bazar itself offers a nice experience for the street food lovers, with tinny artizanal shops, coffee shops, Turkish sweets and tea. Uphill there's a beautiful, big Mosque to visit and Kale Fortress. Down the Vardar River, before the bridges, there are few interesting museums.

This is part of old Skopje with shops selling everything you can image from ice cream to kettles.Wonder thru the streets -it is predominantly Moslem so you have a different atmosphere than that in western Skopje. Delightful experience

The old bazaar has color, but is also quite touristy. There is a brewery with good beer and plenty of places to eat.
