The guide was knowlegeable, and gave great tour of the site. It was good, too, because we were small party of 5, and could ask questions. Sadly there were not many things on sale in the souvenir shop.

Very nice place with paintings, souvenirs and unique accessories. In the center of the city with nice garden and interesting events. The owners are very welcome and hospital. You can find something for everyone. Place that you have to visit.

This is a brand new gallery opened in the city. The current exhibition is of a contemporary Macedonian artist and it is worth visiting. They also sell souvenirs. Its central location is great and easily accessible.

Lovely place, lovely owner, they have a hidden secret garden in the back that is beautiful. Excellent choice of artists.

It will be a ‘must visit’ place in Skopje for those who are interested in sketches and paintings like me. Had to hold my greed to purchase over budget, and I visited twice for 3 hours. First to take a look, second to purchase....worth a visit definietly.

We enjoyed this, but it was just 3 small rooms (maybe 10x10) with paintings for sale. Still, only a 10 min walk from The Statue...worth a visit if you have the time.

The one and only gallery situated in the very heart in Skopje, bringing the best of artists and artisans! Worth visiting and spending quality time. Great and friendly people who manage the place!

We visited Acanthus last week and were really taken by the current exhibition. Bojan gave us some great information on both the artist featured and the current state of the Macedonian art scene. If you are interested in seeing or buying some high-quality local art, I definitely recommend stopping by Acanthus.
