This venue provides a fantastic experience for a dance recital. My 10 year old and 6 year old grandchildren performed in an annual dance recital. Every seat provided a clear view of the stage. The acoustics were unbelievable. The event was well organized and went...More

We are very lucky to have the old High School turned into a wonderful collection of classrooms and studios for the arts. The Concert Hall is very nice - weak on the acoustics front - but charming and comfortable like an old pair of loafers....More

We came for the Roger Hodgson show and the show itself was great. It was a cool building and set up and felt very intimate. My complaint is that you could hear people in the audience talking from across the room. The people at this...More

We go here because what we want to see is here. But, given a choice, we would choose another venue. The floor is not sloped enough that you have a good view from every seat -- especially if you are short. They also have no...More

We enjoyed Jordan Smith concert at Maryland Hall and the sound was great. Maryland Hall has great parking and is a great place to enjoy music.

My first visit to the MD Hall for Creative Arts. You can tour a few galleries prior to the show. Had a table setup offering wine, beer and water; we were allowed to take drinks in the hall. Sound system was ok, no projectors.

We saw Chris Botti here and the venue was great for the concert. Felt like we were so close to the band even though we were in the back. The acousics were good, the band was great. The only drawback was the seating is a...More

We saw Chris Botti in concert here. Last time we saw him was at the Kennedy Center, but preferred this venue much more, it was more intimate. Lovely old early 20th century high school re purposed into the Arts Center. Parking was easy, close by...More

Maryland Hall, in spite of receiving government funds in the past, is barely handicapped accessible. There are very few handicapped parking spaces, and entrance into building is circuitous. The elevator must be as old as the building. Once you are in the Perforrmance Hall, which...More
