Description:

Pirate Adventures on the Chesapeake is a unique, unforgettable experience...

Pirate Adventures on the Chesapeake is a unique, unforgettable experience for your child aboard a pirate ship in the Annapolis Harbor. You will be amazed as we tap into your child's imagination and transform him or her into a pirate, complete with face paint, tattoos, and pirate fashions. Time aboard our ship is filled with non-stop activity, including reading a treasure map, hauling loot aboard, and, of course, defending the ship with our famous water cannons.

This was a perfect afternoon adventure for 2 8 yr olds. When we arrived, the fun began with friendly staff. The kids were given costumes to wear and offered face or arm painting. Once that was done, we were off to board the Sea Chanty. Adults were seated in the back of the ship. The captain and crewmember began to... More

After checking in, kids get to choose a costume (or not) which is included in the admission. Then they can get a face painting or "tattoo" (or not). The people in charge really like entertaining the kids and the kids enjoy them as well. Once on board the boat, the kids are constantly engaged with the treasure hunt and amusing... More

We were on vacation from Tucson and looking to get our kids (ages 6 & 3) out on the water, and this was PERFECT. The staff are Amazing - from start to finish. We reserved our time slot two weeks in advance and when called a few days before our trip to see about moving to another time, they were... More

This activity is perfect for young children, the staff is so engaging and fun. They were so animated with the children. I was worried about parking, it can be bad there, but it was perfect they have a huge lot, parking is free! One of my son's had a fabulous time, the other would not get on the boat he... More

My husband and I took our two young kids (4,3) on the 9:30am Pirate Cruise and it was just fantastic. Crew was great and my kids just loved getting involved in the adventure. Great set up with safe boat where the kids can be independent and an interactive crew making it really fun. I'd say the sweet spot age is... More

We decided to go on Thd Pirate Ship even though we had no young children with us. It looked like fun. We had a fabulous time watching the two young men thoroughly engage the kids on board. The kids were completely occupied and enthralled ! So were we, just watching it all unfold. Highly recommend this for families with young... More

We've been on this 'cruise' 4 times with our small children and had a blast. The staff is fun, engaging and enthusiastic. Perfect for children 3+. And fun for the parents, too. The scenery is beautiful and the length of the trip is perfect. Highly recommend.

Both ashore and afloat activities are all designed for younger children (I'd say 7 or 8 and under), although >everyone< would enjoy them. There are several surprises as well as several great photographic opportunities of Annapolis while afloat. All staff ashore and afloat go out of their way to make sure each kid has a good time.

Pirate Adventures is wonderful fun for kids from about 4 to 8. By 10 or 11, they would probably find it too hokey. We've had both set of grandchildren do it. They loved it. One set has gone twice, and loved it the second time as much as the first. Be sure to call for reservations, which are often needed.... More
