Arrived in Annapolis late on a Friday, walked down Main Street, but got turned off by the 30-45 min wait times everywhere else we stopped. Federal House had decent music and no waiting - win! Dinner was decent and reasonably priced: fish and crab. Libations...More

The federal house offers a wide range of seafood and for the non-fish-lovers also meat dishes. I had the signature dish (crab cakes) and chicken wings for starters. The food was very good and the place and service good.

Parking was difficult for the touristy part of Annapolis but the crab soup and crab cake sandwich were both delicious!!! Sorry for the picture but I only remembered to take the “after” photo.

My partner and I stumbled on this restaurant in the square just before noon - and boy did we luck out. Place was quiet which allowed us to peruse the menu's ample selections. I ordered the boom-boom shrimp sandwich - 6 lightly battered and flash...More

I had the shrimp and grits a couple of weeks ago, and just had to return. In fact all five of our group ordered it based on my raving about it last month. Everyone was very pleased with their meal and would order it again.

After being disappointed at a few of Federal House's neighbors my wife and I enjoyed a very fine late lunch on a sunny day in Downtown Annapolis. We sat outside to enjoy some sun, some breeze, and a healthy dose of people-watching. Service was prompt...More

This place was hoping on a Thursday night. Good food. We had one person at our table get their food long after we had gotten ours and had eaten it. I was hoping they would comp on it or give him a free drink. But...More

The Federal House, located right across the street from the historic Annapolis Harbor is a keeper. The crab cakes were chunk crab and seasoning - no filler here, and were excellent!! The service was excellent. The bar was a fun social atmosphere, with a great...More

I stopped by here visiting the Annapolis waterfront. They have a nice wood finished bar with good service. The place was busy and it was a good sign. The decor is most wood and seemed historical. It is located almost on the waterfront and it...More
