Annapolis is a well preserved historic town with lots of historic buildings, a harbor and boats. It is also very walkable. I’m just not thrilled with the crowds and lack of parking and mediocre shopping. Maybe a sunny Saturday was not the best time to...More

We love walking around the historic district of Annapolis. There are so many beautiful homes. Pocket gardens tucked behind. It’s wonderful to be able to see the insides of a number of these homes. So glad this was all preserved.

The architecture and history of Annapolis is really interesting, and a lot can be reached on foot. It's also kind of cool because you keep coming into new neighborhoods each with their own vibe.

Annapolis is an hour and a half drive for us and we enjoy visiting at various times throughout the year. There is usually something special going on. The restaurants and shops are quite varied and enjoyable. Being along the water allows boating opportunities too!

Annapolis has lots of history, great restaurants and bars, the waterfront, the United States Naval Academy, shopping and wonderful Bed and Breakfasts. It's a fun place to visit even when it's cold because you can basically walk everywhere in the historic district.
