We visited the Maryland State House. It doesn't take much of your time, but it is a significant part of U.S. history. The historical exhibits are very nice and informative. The architecture is interesting, and the grounds are nice.

This place is awesome. The building and history are great and its so cool to just walk around and read the different plaques. This is the oldest operating State House in the country and so much has happened here.

There's not much to see at the State House, but it's free and close to downtown so why not stop by. The coolest thing they have is the exhibit on George Washington releasing power of the military to the citizens.
