This park is huge , has many attractions and events, and best of all for veterans, is free. Just show your drivers license with the Veteran designation and you by pass the $4 per vehicle charge. We go there several times a week to walk the paved trails, picnic overlooking the water or renting a kayak or canoe.

If you are military (have an ID) it's free! It's open 9-9 on weekends and 1-9 weekdays (closed Tues). You drive down to the gazebo... More

The venue provided tables and chairs for 150 guests and two gardens (upper and lower) with a running fountain. Thrice was quite responsible; $1,400.00 for an eight period. However... More

Quiet Waters park has a 4 mile trail full of walkers, runners and bikers. It is beautiful trails that are well maintained. Boat rentals, pavilions, a museum, a building great for a party of wedding venue and gazebo overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. The park has it all.

We go several times a year to events like the Halloween Dog Barking Bash and in the summer months to use one of many (not clustered together) picnic tables.
