About
FUNtastic and relaxing SAILING trips from historic Annapolis,MD less than an hour away from Washington or Baltimore. Join me, Captain Paul Foer on my restored classic sailboat 38' sailboat, "Non Sea Quitter", as we sail on the Severn River and Chesapeake Bay where I grew up boating with my family. We offer private trips for up to six guests. While visiting, you may also enjoy waterfront dining, live music and lodging at nearby restaurants and other nearby historic and outdoor attractions. Come for a few hours, a day or even an overnight adventure. Sit back and relax or help us raise sails and take the wheel as we sail across the open Bay and see globe-trotting freighters, yachts racing, the Chesapeake Bay Bridges, osprey, ducks and maybe even rays or dolphins swimming. Funtastic sailing for all ages.

We had the opportunity to sail with Paul and observe a schooner race. The boat is very comfortable for a group of 6, and we were able sit on the front and back. Paul let my daughter wear a captains hat and take the helm while we sang “Gilligan’s Island” lol! He’s a fun entertaining character who sings and tells jokes but also knows so much about Annapolis. We brought snacks and drinks and Paul is really relaxed about that which was nice. He was also great about safety and going over the emergency protocols and we felt very confident in his skills and safe on the boat. On our sail he employed a mate who was retired from the navy. I think having a mate enhanced our trip because it allowed Paul to interact more with the guests. Thanks for a great sail Paul.

Thanks so much for the review. We were so lucky to get to see the start of the race on such a pleasant and sunny day. We do hope to see you around town again as you are also local. Regards Captain Paul

AWESOME 3rd of July Sail! Paul took our group of 6 for an afternoon outing in the Bay, which proved the highlight of our weekend in Annapolis. You'll have fun, You'll help sail the boat, You'll be entertained by the jokes. Can't recommend enough.

As a lifelong sailor, I can be pretty picky about boat tours. I don't really enjoy just sitting on a tourist boat while the crew does the sailing, though my husband is happiest when he can relax and not worry about tending lines or setting sails. Captain Paul let each of us enjoy this experience in our own way, and it was perfect!
Our trip with Captain Paul was truly wonderful. His boat is lovely, and a dream to sail, even in light wind. Captain Paul made us feel welcome and comfortable, and I highly recommend this experience, whether it's your first time on a boat or you're a salty sailor. We have been very picky about doing things in this time of COVID, and Captain Paul made us feel safe, which we appreciated. This was absolutely a five star experience!

We aim to please and we are so glad to hear that we were on target with happy clients--and new friends, especially someone with your boating experience. Of course 'we love to have you back again, perhaps for a sleep aboard and overnight cruise--maybe even to the Magothy waterfront. Regards to all and best wishes,
Captain Paul

Captain Paul is only looking for your money, the boat is a dump. Needs repairs and upgrades, he will tell you want you want to hear, take your money, get you on the water and do what he wants, not what you paid for. In his mind, Capt Paul will email you to death, changing details constantly. Which you all luck, I will just say our family was very disappointed, there are better options in the Annapolis area.

I work extremely hard to maintain a classic sailboat and offer excellent service to my many happy guests. This baseless and highly negative review is an anomaly and outlier among 39 other excellent reviews Trip Advisor clearly shows. Mr. Corb and his wife were so pleased with a beautiful SIX hour sail with me on a superb April day that they then signed up for another customized trip in May so they must have been very happy--but that time, apparently did not write a review). This most recent customized tour involved special arrangements which I gladly set up for his party. I gave him an option to tweak his plan a bit thus saving him somewhere between $500 and $1000. As a repeat guest, I only asked for a 20% deposit instead of the normal 50% deposit and I held this date for three weeks. Unfortunately he misread an email which was very clear and instead assumed that my mate (hired special for the day) and I would have the boat to his desired location at 7 am, which would have meant my mate and I had to wake up at 4 am, leave Annapolis at 5 am and then sail them for 8-9 hours, return to Annapolis and conduct a sunset sail for other guests. He knew all along that I had to be back in Annapolis for a sunset sail. HOWEVER....The day before the planned trip, he realized he was confused about the pickup location. I resent him the email of 3 weeks previously to explain his misunderstanding and asked for his phone number which I could not locate. Via email I graciously offered to have his group come at the earlier and agreed-upon time at the normal Annapolis location, or to have me and my mate come to his desired location but two hours later. My reply to him was apologetic for any misunderstanding (even though it was his fault) and said there would be no hard feelings and that I would be pleased to do the trip the following day but with the modifications (actually they were not modifications but were the original plan). Instead of him calling me or giving me his phone number, which I requested so we could work everything out, he just wrote emails complaining and demanding his money back. So he canceled on his own accord, actually thinking he could get another trip from another provider the next day. However, it is unfair and unreasonable for him to demand a return his deposit--$200 to be exact. To do so would have added further loss to the losses I already had to accept due to his difficult and unreasonable demands and cancelation. His actions caused me to have to rework my plans and preparations for two days, cancel my mate for a day, re-open my calendar for that Friday and then to lose many hundreds if not $1000 or more on a lovely May Friday where I had a sunset sail and six more trips over the very busy weekend. Despite this, he continues to libel me and my business in social media and demand a refund. He accuses me of "only looking for your money" and says "the boat is a dump. Needs repairs and upgrades" If it were so bad, how come he wanted to come again on another trip? TripAdvisor customers can see the other 39 excellent (and honest) reviewers and draw their own conclusions. Thank you.

We had a great experience with Captain Paul and his crew member. The day was very warm and humid with minimal wind, but he made the best of what was available and we had a lovely 3-hour sail. He provided a lot of information about the area while sailing and also made some suggestions regarding local places to visit and eat (all of which were fantastic). Highly recommended.

My family just wrapped a lovely weekend sailing experience with Captain Paul aboard the Non Sea-Quitter. We arrived for a lovely 6pm sunset sail, followed by an overnight stay aboard the boat. It was a fun adventure from start to finish, and a perfect experience for our two daughters (aged 8 and 9). Captain Paul was highly communicative and a consummate professional throughout the entire process, helped customize the experience for our family, and delivered exactly as promised. The sailing was delightful and our family left the Non Sea-Quitter feeling relaxed, refreshed, and looking forward to joining Captain Paul again in the future!

We had a fantastic time on our sunset cruise on the Non Sea-Quitter! Captain Paul was easygoing and personable from the word go and had great rapport with our kids. We felt completely safe and relaxed and enjoyed some rich conversation along with a fantastic sunset. We brought food with us and enjoyed having dinner and drinks on the boat. (I recommend this, but make sure it's something easy to eat!) This is not your heavily commercial, tourist attraction type activity, but a personal, private, and peaceful sailing venture, which is exactly what we wanted. From the time we set out on the Chesapeake Bay, we knew we would be booking another cruise with Non Sea-Quitter in the future. Highly recommend.

Wedding anniversaries are not usually spent with a third person but make an exception in this case. Given the current state of the world where travel is perilous at best we looked for a safer, close to home activity to celebrate our anniversary.
We found Paul and the Non Sea Quitter and we are so happy we did. Paul is an excellent captain possessing an astounding knowledge of the Annapolis area and the Bay. His seamanship is top notch.
Our day was perfect! Definitely inquire about the ‘Paul Weather Insurance’ special. It worked for us. Clear, 70º and the perfect winds for sailing.
Forget all the other boat trip people. Better call Paul.

Thanks to both of you for coming sailing and for sharing such a special evening. It may not have been Viking River Cruises but I was so pleased to meet you both and that we had such great early Fall weather and a full moon rising at sunset! I know we'll see each other again. Thanks Captain Paul

Captain Paul and the NonSea-Quitter tour are the best. I took a trip to Annapolis this summer and the highlight of my trip and summer was spending my day sailing with Captain Paul. His descriptive narration and sense of humor make the trip. You leave feeling happy.
His boat is clean, well maintained, and safe, Captain Paul has many years of experience and there is no other captain I would trust more on a sail boat ride. Safety is strictly followed and the boat is in great shape. Captain Paul is excellent with communication and letting you know about your trip.
In consideration of the experience, narration, safety, and narration, this trip is a bargain for the money. Do not hesitate to book with Captain Paul and he will make your trip to Annapolis memorable.
