About Tabasco Food Tours
Eat like the locals and taste the Southern culture! Food is one of the greatest ways to sample an area’s culture. In our Culinary Course, participants are able to get a feel for what Louisiana and TABASCO® Pepper Sauce are all about. Our course instructors are knowledgeable about our area’s history, and are able to connect that history to the food as you sample 6 local tastings from the Acadiana Region, along with a TABASCO® Bloody Mary flight and TABASCO® mash tasting. Learning is best when it encompasses all of your senses and our unique course setup will gain an authentic local experience.

Interesting factory tour. It’s self guided so tour at your own pace. Lunch at the cafe was good. The Jungle Gardens was really nice. It’s a bit far from New Orleans and there’s no day tour from there. So you need a car to drive to Avery Island. And anyway, you pretty much need a car to see the Jungle Gardens, although we saw a few bikers. We stayed a night in New Iberia - lots of good restaurants there.

We spent the day taking the Tabasco factory tour and driving around seeing all the wild life in the area. My 90 year old father saw his first alligator! Very interesting and enjoyable. We would recommend it to anyone in the area.
