Not recommendable at all. I had the worst language learning experience with them. They gave me a spanish teacher who was constantly on her phone, i couldnt understand her at all. I wanted to stop taking lessons and we decided that i will get a refund off about 60% of the money for my remaining lessons. Now they are not answering emails anymore and they still owe me more than 200 $. I stay away frome them and there shady businesspracitces

I sent them an email September 20 and they never replied! Terrible… so I went with another school for my son.

I am sure they are great, but the classes didn't work out for me. The management was very helpful. I would recommend they fully train teachers before hiring to ensure the best.

I have been taking Spanish learning classes at Habla Ya since April 2019 at their Panama City campus with the goal to give Advanced level(C1) exams in May this year. Now that I am due to give my exams shortly, I wanted to share my experience over the past year… it has been an incredible journey full of fun, laughter and hopefully a happy ending!
I had started with the group classes and after two months shifted to private classes.During the initial months I had Stephany and Jesus as my professors- both young, committed and excellent- and now since the past 10 months am being taught by Ana who is phenomenal!! Infact , it’s not just the professors but also the front office staff (Dwan and Ashley) who always make you feel right at home since day one. Especially Dwan has been so kind and helpful every single time that I needed to change my timings owing to having emergencies in my high pressure full time job. The flexibility and the personal touch of the team members of Habla Ya is incredible. Never over the past one year has arisen any occasion when the team has not come forward with innovative solutions for ensuring that my learning progresses without any hindrance.
No words of praise are enough for my lovely professor Ana who is a powerhouse of knowledge, empathy, motivation and enthusiasm. There have been difficult days when I lost my motivation to continue, when learning seemed impossible… but those were the days she doubled up and bought me back on track with different learning techniques, motivational speeches and a never say die attitude! Infact over the past two months in spite of all the negative consequences of the COVID19, none of the professors have given up on their commitment and sincerity. Each day Ana through her online classes keeps me on course and motivated for my exam. No better moment to tell you Ana and all your wonderful colleagues at Habla Ya , how truly grateful I am to you all and how blessed I feel to have chosen to study at this institute!!

I completed two weeks of Spanish immersion in Panama City with Habla Ya. I had not taken formal Spanish lessons before but had picked up a little bit of Spanish through travel and from Spanish-speaking co-workers. By the time I left, I feel I had advanced in my ability to understand and speak Spanish. The instructor, Simón Abraham was exceptional. I had Simón for both group lessons and private tutoring. Simón is extremely patient and explains things (in Spanish) in a way that allows you to understand the concepts he is teaching. Simón uses Habla Ya’s curriculum but also adapts it to the needs of his students. Perhaps the best thing about the Habla Ya method is that they stress speaking the language. Yes, I made mistakes constantly and Simón would gently correct them. However, it helped me get over my reluctance to speak and increased my confidence. I only wish that I had stayed longer than two weeks!

My wife and I really enjoyed our time at Habla Ya. Our Professor, Simon Abraham, was patient, and understood our different learning needs. The course was challenging (4 hours per day + homework), and very rewarding. All the staff at Habla Ya were friendly and helpful. The after class activities with our Professor and other students were not only fun, but gave us real life practice using our newly acquired Spanish skills. Muchas Gracias Simon y Habla Ya!

I'm really pleased with the experience I had at Habla Ya! The classes were very interactive: games, videos, stories etc. Prof.Simon was very helpful, patient, & engaged. Classes were well planned and incorporated different types of learning. We even had class outside of the classroom which I enjoyed. I enjoyed the activities that were available and the other members of the HablaYa! team (honorable mentions to Dwan, Stephany, Gabriel, and Howard who helped along the way) were great as well. Thank you all for the experience!

I'm really glad I did Habla Ya! The classes were very interactive and I learned a lot of Spanish very quickly. My teacher Simon was very hands-on and helped me increase my fluency at a great pace. He was very attentive and made class fun! Classes were well planned and incorporated different types of learning. We even visited a coffee shop.

4 weeks at this language immersion program in Panama City was just not enough! You will be able to meet students from all over the world. The staff is incredible! Everyone is so welcoming and patient. They genuinely want to get to know you and see you improve. Whether its a movie night, salsa class, or dinner there are always activities to practice spanish, form relationships with the staff and fellow students, and fully immerse yourself in the Panamanian culture. I loved my group lessons with Stephany. She is such a helpful, fun, and informative teacher! We are still in contact and she continues to help me improve. I also enjoyed my private lessons with Gabriel. They were both so encouraging and willing to help me grow even outside of the classroom. You won't regret your time at Habla Ya!

My experience at Habla Ya Panama City campus was very enjoyable. The staff was very welcoming, and all of them took an interest in getting to know me. They were also very flexible when it came to my learning needs and used different approaches to help me learn the Spanish language. Both Yarixell and Stephany were very helpful, understanding, and patient when it came to every lesson. Also, I like how the entire staff took the time to correct you during a conversation to help you improve your conversational skills. Throughout the week, they also have actives around the city to help you explore Panama City and allows you to practice your Spanish with locals. Great place to take Spanish lessons!!!

Foi uma experiência muito boa! Desenvolvi o idioma muito rápido, professores preparados, metodologia excelente. Agradecimento especial a professora Ana, ela é incrível, aprendi muito com ela!
Enriquecimento cultural, convívio com outras pessoas de diferentes nacionalidades, aprendizado sobre o Panamá, passeios.
Recomendo a escola Habla Ya para todos aqueles que buscam aprender espanhol, me ajudou muito as aulas que tive.
Eu estava recém chegada a escolae acolheu, me ajudou em vários aspectos, nessa fase difícil de adaptação a um novo país, melhorou minha auto confiança para falar e resolver os problemas do dia a dia.
Vi outros alunos também que apenas falavam inglês desenvolver as habilidades de espanhol, a escola abre seus horizontes para novos desafios.
