Best trip of my life. I can complain about a few things: it’s more expensive then they tell you on the website (ie you have (!!!) to book accommodations in necocli, sapzurro, Panama City, ferry to sapzurro) and the website might be a bit misleading (if you’re a lazy reader when it comes to general information you miss that it sgtually does not start in cartagena). Also the waves were so strong it was actually horror for me to be on these boat rides between the islands. HOWEVER, everything else just outweighed this. I would’ve easily paid double the amount and still not regret it. All the panic attacks in the boat were 100% worth it. A Highlight of my life so far.

I've chosen to travel with San Blas Adventures to Columbia, instead of taking a sailing trip. As it turned out, it was the best decision of all. The trip was well planned and besides stunning islands, we also got to know some Kuna communities.
Shout out for Edi and his team, they made this trip very special, we had a lot of fun and they served us amazing food 3 times a day (incl seafood) and at least one surprise was waiting for us every single day! Edi took care of every extra whishes, showed us good snorkling spots and also helped everyone to find their way around in Capurgana.
I would highly recommend this trip to everyone who is looking for an adventure and likes to spend more time on these amazing islands.

Amazing experience! I did the 4 day tour from Colombia to Panama. With San Blas adventures you get to sleep on the islands and experience the Guna community from up close. They limit the time on a boat to a minimum, making it more comfortable for people like who (like me) are not big fan of boats. Nevertheless, the rides can be rocky, wet and a bit scary at times. However, the Guna sailsmen are one of the best, and you really trust their abilities. Our guides (Karole, Eddie and Diego) and group were amazing. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience! I would definitely recommend it for people who want to explore the beautiful islands and meet a nice group to have fun with.

The trip was great, one of my best experiences traveling, and I've been to many places and many tours :P The islands are beautiful, the food is great, the vibe is chill. I am deeply grateful for and humbled by the opportunity to be able to experience the land and life of the welcoming Kuna people. Yan, our main guide was the spirit of the trip - not only is he extremely well prepared, knowledgeable and confident, but in his interactions with guests and the Kuna embodies deep empathy and respect.
The rest of our guides were also great, especially Jose, who was super friendly and funny - I'm sure he will very quickly become an excellent main guide (It was his first trip with us and already he was smashing it)
Our group had some difficulties with immigration, due to the immigration office (some computer problems), this had nothing to do with the trip and was way after it has ended, and Yan still kept helping everyone even though it was clearly out of his responsibility. But this was really just the cherry on top! Yan is the best, go soon while he's still working here as a guide ;)

Firstly, the Canadian tour guide(girl) was were unappropriated as she was talking at the lunch time about the Czech porn and how Czech girl are willing to give it to everyone , when I was sitting right next to her and she knew I am from Czech. It was rude and other people found it very insane as well.
Secondly, another tour guide was 22 year old girl , which I really dont know how she could help us in dangerous situation when we was helping her with her staff to carry around. Also, it was very funny how she was 24/7 swearing , in such amazing place you really dont wanna hear swearing next to you all the time.
Lastly, the last night we have had dinner for which we paid 10 dollars and only got tine piece of lasagna which was over priced like hell.

I have to start with this… we are not 20-30yo anymore so that could really have so much to do with my opinion.
We did not make it to the briefing day before, so did not meet the group who was traveling with us.
From my point of view and this was not first trip we had… we travelled in Philippines with similar agency and other places… and to compare … this was not what I expected.
To be fair… I feel like the head of the SBA is not that present to see how it’s going.
The $ they make I feel they are taking very less care of people.
They have 2 groups each week… around 25ppl… you pay them $450 average pp…
I feel like people who work for them are fine, but there is lack of progress …
Sometimes just the guide make the big difference, but there is some misleading when it comes to the information… it was very hectic … you want to have experience but also enjoy the island more and the days on the beach. This was nothing like that.
Something is missing there and I feel is from the HQ not from the people who works for them.

Amazing trip organized by san Blas adventures , our main guide Yann has totally managed to give us the best of Kuna Yala. Also Pablo and Sylvaine were very helpful each day. All meal were prepared by them always fresh and tasty + managing each time all the different intolerances of some guests.
We can only recommend you to do this trip . Thanks again to Yann Pablo and sylvaine , your energies are great and we wish you me and Marbelys all the best in your life !

I couldn’t recommend this experience more! Although it was more than my usual budget, it was totally unique and unforgettable. The islands we visited were how you would imagine an untouched desert island. The boat ride was at times a little scary but mostly fun - just be wary of bringing valuables. Meeting the kuna community was an incredible experience. The food was outstanding - I haven’t eaten as well since! Yann always put a smile on our face and made sure we were entertained

I had a great time with San Blas Adventures, the islands you visit are beautiful and It is really nice that you get to meet and experience how the Kuna live. They are very friendly and provide you places to sleep. The boat trips could be a little choppy and wet, but it’s all part of the experience.
The accommodation isn’t luxury, but I had no issues at all with the accommodation. This trip is more based on a genuine experience / adventure! It is a mix of sleeping in hammocks, beds and in hand built huts, which is cool!
The food is also really good on the trip, you get 3 large meals a day with some snacks included.
Brandon was an awesome guide, he really kept the energy high the entire time and went out of his way to make sure we had the best time travelling through the San Blas Islands. He was very knowledgable of the Kuna locals and also knew good snorkelling spots. It felt as we ended the trip with him as are friend and not just a tour guide!
Overall the trip was great, I would highly recommend it. I met some awesome people and had a lot of fun.

We took this trip towards the end of 2 months bag packing around South America. I can easily say this trip was by far the highlight of those 2 months by mile. The organised group travel from Cartagena felt like an extension to the trip, getting to meet everyone and the fun started immediately. The trip was so well run and structured with loads of surprises sprinkled throughout. The guides Edi, Viccy and Jose didn't feel like guides at all, but just part of the group. They made each step of the trip a joy with their humour and dedication to making sure everyone was having the best time possible. (Viccy was my favourite btw) I would recommend this to anyone and wish I could experience it for the first time again!

San Blas Adventures me llevo a conocer el Archipiélago y a sus habitantes (la comunidad Guna) en un Tour sin precedentes durante 5 días de pura diversión con un grupo maravilloso de personas de varios países. Recorrimos desde Colombia (Capurgana, limite ya con Panamá) hasta Carti, visitando varias Islas y disfrutando de paisajes Maravillosos, vistas alucinantes de amaneceres y atardeceres, sumado a la gran Cultura Kuna, su habitad, gastronomía, música, bailes, indumentaria, y costumbres entre otras cosas hace que te adentres en su estilo de vida. Una experiencia que jamás olvidaré. Muchas gracias por permitirme ser parte de esta gran aventura. 100% recomendado viajeros de todas partes del mundo, no pueden perderse este Tour.

The journey from Cartagena is one and a bit days through beautiful Colombian scenery. You will take a bus or buses/vans to Necocli and a boat from Necocli to Capurgana. Your suitcases are fine there will be no extra charges for them. When are you planning on traveling?
