However I do love the facade with the 2 towers and the wonderful marble (?) floor inside...pleasant place.
Old and new are juxtaposed within this cathedral. You feel the history as you walk in. The atmosphere is very serene and sedate and you cannot help but whisper. Many of the old relics from the original church is on display and is a must...More

Beautiful cathedral that you're bound to walk by strolling Viejo. When I was there they were giving out meals and bottles of water to the hungry, very heartwarming to see.
The Cathedral here stands high above anything nearby and is clearly the main landmark. It boasts beautiful architecture and intricate carvings and makes for a really great picture.
Only saw it from outside, near the plaza. It was a lovely building to see and photograph, with such history in this area. Makes you appreciate the long history in this part of the world

Hello, there was some construction going on around there but it didn't affect the cathedral. We went on August so it may be an issue now. Enjoy your trip.
