Great tour - picked up from hotel and dropped off at marina. We were bused up to Gamboa - only 45 mins max and joined the Pacific Queen- multi decked - some outside with no cover, some outside with canopies and some below fully enclosed and air conditioned and where lunch is served. We were lucky to be joined by... More

Definitely interesting to see but there is nothing overly impressive. Everage food and limited activities. Very close to the city and can be done in half a day.

We were told that the partial transit would be a five hour trip, and we'd be picked up at 7:30 am. We got a later message to say we'd be picked up at 9:30 to 10:30 instead, and were finally picked up nearer to 11. We then spend ages at the company's office with many others who'd waited even longer.... More

We booked our tour almost two months in advance. I started to count the days from that day on to experience the Canal Locks first hand. We were delayed for more than four hours, however, the wait was worth it. We started from Gaboa and did three locks going down. It was interesting to see the water draining out and... More

For this trip, you get on a bus and drive up to the main lake. Then you are on a boat with about 300 others. You slowly make your way down the 3 locks to the Pacific, waiting for a ship you can fit into the lock with. Everything happens slowly. This is a decent lunch. For me, this was... More

We did a partial transit tour of the panama canal via Holland America on a 10 day cruise. This was the best part of the cruise. We got up at 5:30 am as we started to enter the canal. We were on the front of the ship as we entered the first lock. We were able to see the first... More

I have wanted to boat through the Panama Canal since I was a child. I must have seen some film or read some book in elementary school that stuck in my head. I also always wanted to ride a camel and an elephant - both wishes having been happily fulfilled and exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately the Panama Canal Partial Transit... More

This is a great way to see the Panama Canal. You go through the Miraflores and the Pedro Miguel Locks with a big ship, and to see the locks open after waiting for the water to raise or lower is quite a sight. We booked with Barefoot Panama, but there are many tour companies with this tour, and we all... More

I booked the tour through Viator, which went through Gray line Panama.it was most horrible experience to get through them. They have listed 4 numbers and no one ever pickup phone or call back. We had no clue when and how we will be pick up till last moment.I wish they should improve customer service. But otherwise tour was great... More
