We did the Historic train to Colon to see the Gatun canal locks with an added stop to see historic Fort San Lorenzo in a beautiful remote promontory. Ross was our wonderful guide who gave pertinent information with enthusiasm. Seeing monkeys and sloths in their natural setting was enchanting. The second tour took us to El Valle where again Ross... Kevin, the company owner, picked us up at the hotel as promised in a small van. Two other Americans would be taking the tour with us today. We went first to Ancon Hill, which was closed due to some community clean up event. Very unfortunate but outside of Barefoot's control. To occupy this time, we went to see the ships... More

We took the City & Miraflores locks tour one day & the Monkey Island tour the next. Gonzo was out your guide both days & did he great job. Everything was easy & the tours were enjoyable introductions to Panama City's and the country's very interesting history mixed with a bit of the natural beauties. One the second day it... More

After reading all the positive reviews in TA about the former tour guide Kevin who started his own business a couple of years ago, we decided to book a tour at his office. His employee Nicole advised us about the Panama canal partial transit tour and that one of their tours include the pick-up from the hotel. This was the... More

We hopped on the snorkeling and zip lining tour and it was fantastic. We had a great group and our tour guide Ross was amazing. Ross was so knowledgable and kept the group entertained and informed. The weather was not on our side but it didn't dampen the mood at all! Not many people can say they zip lined over... More

We planned a week in Panama, and decided to take the 8-hour Panama City/Miraflores Locks tour. It was a lovely day, and 10 of us squeezed into a van, and the driver was the tour guide. Despite the cozy/cramped quarters in the van, and the as-usual very crowded city streets, our driver/guide did an excellent job of explaining what we... More

Barefoot Panama lives up to its reputation- it is a wonderful tour company with amazing, passionate people who know their stuff. Kevin (the owner), Ross, and Gonzo are all wonderful people. They were incredibly knowledgeable, smart, thoughtful, professionals who know Panama well. We chose the El Valle, Canal/City, and the Snorkeling tours. We enjoyed each tour and how dedicated each... Sadly I paid $150.00 to be lumped in with 30 other people, most of whom were not able to hike through a very wet and rocky cave. First off, the owner was not sure about allowing me to travel on this tour as I was flying solo. Looking back now this is kind of funny as there were so many... More

I loved it, we had a great guide , he could explain everything, all about politics, history, developemnt in the last 10 years. He also showed us the old part of town where still poor people are leaving, we had a great lunch in a local Restaurant with amazing food, i enjoyed it very much and got to know Panama... More

My girlfriend and I landed in Panama and we found out about Barefoot Panama through people we met. We chose the Panama Canal and Fort Lorenzo Historic Tour. It was absolutely amazing and unforgettable. I defiantly recommend it with Barefoot Panama. It was so interesting, fun and our tour guide Ross was so informative, friendly, knowledgeable and other than the... More
