Not sure if it qualifies as a scenic spot as it is a new business district, but if you have access to a tall building, the view across the bay is impressive, a bit like high rises in Hong Kong or Dubai.

As someone else mentioned, you really think you're in Miami. All new and fresh, very modern. Large streest and excellent options for housing. There are a lot of good restaurants and options for leisure.

Goodness gracious! Talk about super duper luxury, this is it! I am a Panamanian but left some 50 years ago and I couldn't believe the exquisite environment and homes in this area. The sad thing is that the majority of residents here are foreigners because the average Panamanian cannot nor could never afford to live in places such as this... More

If you want to enjoy the modern part of Panamá, get ready fo see this. Lots of constructions, and new buildings, lots of restaurants, one of them is Tre Scalini.

Panama City has experienced an explosion since I was last there 10 years ago. This is one of the nicer areas for living & good restaurants (which are not necessarily cheap).

Modern buildings, many companies and banks, local and foreigners. It looks like Miami, but with Panamenians.

We stayed in a condo in Costa del Este. The good part is that you are near a jogging trail, restaurants, nearby stores for groceries and pharmacy. The bad part is that it's a long taxi ride into the city and Casco Viejo. It's a new, very modern part of town. We felt very safe.

Lots of high rises and skyscrapers, as this area towards the airport is being developed and expanded alot. The prices are still reasonable, but it's climbing!
