About
San Blas Dreams is one of the major Panamanian Official Tour Operators, founded in Panama City in 2014. It starts its business dealing with tourism on the beautiful San Blas Islands in the Caribbean of Panama, where in a few years we have become leaders on this destination, in direct contact with the Guna Yala community we count more than 10 different tours. It stands out on the market for the quality of its services and the extreme attention of the customer. In June 2016, it took over "Travel Panama Company", a historic brand in Panama, adding new tours in addition to the San Blas Islands, among the most interesting and attractive on the Panamanian market: • Embera Community • Monkey Island & Panama Canal Navigation • Venas Azules, Playa Blanca & Portobelo • Panama City Tour & Panama Canal • Mamey Island • Bolaños Island Las Perlas • Aerial Tram Gamboa & Sloth Sanctuary • Zipline Gamboa Rainforest • Ocean to Ocean with the historic Panama Canal Railway • Panama City Bike Tour & more

I booked 2 different tours with this company, one to San blas and the other to cueva del Bayano.
The San blas experience was great, I booked a couple of nights to Chichime island and the island was beautiful, in order to get there I was picked up from my hotel in Panama city very early in the morning and it felt everything was well organized.
As for cuevas del Bayano, they also picked me up from my hotel in the morning and the tour guide (don't remember his name) was very very nice and explained me everything about it. I can only recommend this company if you're coming to Panama and you're looking for a nice tour experience

Great trip, everything went according to plan. Itinerary was very thorough, detailed and carefully organized which eliminated any guesswork or confusion. Drivers, pick-ups, transfers were all on time and had my name which was very re assuring. Happy with the excursions I chose. There are so many options but I was very happy with the ones I had. Felipe, the travel agent I worked with, was great.
I booked with them the tour to the San Blas Islands, Panama City Tour, the visit to the Fort of San Lorenzo and visit to the new Panama Canal (Agua Clara Locks). All perfect. Thank you

SBD did a great job organizing the few nights stay at San Blas islands and everything went super smoothly. Felipe was great, very patient with all the questions and requests and did a fabulous job with organizing everything. So if you have a San Blas dream, go with San Blas Dreams!
Visiting San Blas islands is an amazing experience, from the rollercoaster road from PTY to the port to bumpy and soaking ride with the boat. And then you step on the pristine beach with a turquoise water on a small island and you can basically see from one side of it to another. Accommodation is basic, but what do you expect. Gunas are great, but expect some confusion with the trips they provide (and remember, if anything goes wrong is not because of the SBD!). Just go with the flow and relax. After all, you are in paradise.

I chose the 2 night, 3 day tour on Diablo Island in the San Blas Islands. I booked directly through the San Blas Dreams website. I have both positive and negative things to say.
Good: Diablo Island was incredible. The drivers on the way there and back were great and accommodating. The logistics were flawless and really appreciated the punctuality of everything! We spent one afternoon on Chico Perro Island and the food there was incredible!
Bad: the accommodations at Nia Dub were not good. The beds and pillows were horrible. My back is killing me. The food was really bad and had very limited options for vegetarians. Really no vegetables and all fried food. One evening we waited 2 hours to eat dinner (supposed to be at 7pm and were served food around 9pm, some waited until 930pm). The staff was not friendly and when asked if there was any more food we could buy because the portion was small, we were shaken off and told NO NO NO NO NO. The overall service was not what it should have been based on what we paid. Lastly, the day of the tour around the islands was underwhelming. We were only taken to 3 spots. The others on our island that booked through another tour group were taken on two tours, and went to a snorkel spot with sharks and stingrays. When I asked the boat operator Eugolio if we could go there he said it would be $20 extra and we were OK with that. He said he would be there at 12pm to pick us up and never showed up. When I saw him he didn't apologize and blamed his nephew for not coming. It was a horrible experience. I cried and it was a bad way to end the trip.
While San Blas is a must see, I would recommend selecting a different package and not staying on Diablo Island.

The actual San Blas Islands were stunning! Breathtaking views and perfect backdrops for photos. It was a chill day and lots to do, or not do, depending on how you wanted to spend the time there. Our complaints come from only the drive to the boat launch. Our driver did not have enough functioning seatbelts for the 6 passengers. He also ignored us when we asked for a brief stop to change the seating arrangements to avoid being sick. (Our solution was to then blast the AC so us in the back could have a bit of comfort) Upon entry, the cost is $20/pp. however San Blas Dreams advertises $23/pp. (No prob, things may have changed) but two members of our tour gave $3 extra and the driver made no indication he was going to give them their money back. He had to be told 5+ times they others had overpaid. The drive home was better as the driver had a better and newer truck. If possible, rent your own car or hire your own driver after inspecting their vehicle.

San Blas Islands are incredible. We booked one week in Panama and San Blas Dreams handled everything including the hotel. Our guide Pedro is super knowable and friendly. From Panama City we did daily excursions to the locks, monkey island, indigenous community, caves and the Volcanic valley.

I recently spent an incredible night on the stunning on the beautiful Bolanos Island (part of the Pearl Islands archipelago) and what an experience. I should have spent more than just one night.
My beautiful little tee-pee overlooked the water and what a treat to fall asleep at night listening to the sound of the sea gently lapping the shore. I woke up early and walked almost most of the way around the island watching the sun rise.
The hospitality was great, Lita and the team were really welcoming and friendly, and the homemade food delicious - fried fish with patacones, a traditional Panamanian breakfast and much more await the hungry traveller.
The wifi is really good, and available over almost all of the island, which was a great and very pleasant surprise - good to know if you need to work or be in contact with the outside world, while relaxing on a lounger and watching the sun set.
I highly recommend this experience, and cannot wait to return to the magical island.

I loved Isla Yanis. Delicious fresh food and super friendly families, especially Seniora Gertrude and Senior Heusebio who provide fresh coconuts and sell beautiful molas. Cayo Hollandaise is the most beautiful island we have visited together with Yanis. Senior Tello drove us impeccably in and out of Panama City - through hours of curvy and muddy roads. San Blas is my favorite place in Panama and you surely want to go with this team! Fantastic time.

We got an amazing experience. The guide was very polite, helpful and had high knowledge about the history and technical aspects of the sites we've visited. We highly recommend San Blas Dreams to those who want to fully enjoy Panamá.

Travel in a state, Panamá, still to be discovered with beautiful places and still little exploited for tourism. Do not miss the national park of the island of Coiba, where we were able to admire dolphins, turtles, small sharks and the immense whale shark! The icing on the cake is the San Blas Islands which are literally a spectacle of nature and the indigenous tribe of the Emberà, with their thousand colours. All very well organized by San Blas Dream, thanks to Simone, Damiano and Pedro.

Hi everyone who been to San Blas.
Would you please tell me if there is a real shadow on island umbrellas or shadow from trees? Me and my husband we have a very white skin and we need to stay out of strong afternoon sun. Thank you.

Hi Olesya,
There are a lot of Palm trees where you can cover yourself from the sun in San Blas, if you really need to cover form the sun and be next to the sea is better to take your umbrella with you and use sun proteccion, thanks

I was given the option to pay via western union or wait until we get there to book it at their office. Has anyone had an issue with paying/reserving? Are reservations necessary more than a couple of days out?
