I took private lessons (beginner's level Spanish) at this school twice a week for about two months, before switching to a different course taught at one of the universities in Managua (UCA). The facilities at the school are so-so, but it's a congenial, friendly place and they are quite willing to help people with other aspects besides language-learning as well.... More

My husband and I love this school. The teachers are all amazing. The structure and literature that they use to teach is amazing! After going to another Spanish School for 3 months and not having any structure I learned way more in 5 weeks than I had in the 3 months before. So incredibly grateful for Viva Spanish School!!

I took classes at the Spanish school for a week, and it was a very nice experience. They have air conditioning in most rooms and classes are small, so only have a few other students with you at a time.

I attended the school twice . My first time was a great experience and I truly improved my Spanish within less than a week. Both my teachers were amazing and taught mainly by conducting conversations, which I believe is the best way to teach! My second time was not as amazing... Unfortunately I got sick and informed the school that... More

I signed up at Viva Spanish for a week because of time constraints. Was so lucky to have Behrmann and Raquel as my teachers - they are amazing at explaining complex concept by giving easy to understand examples and shortcuts. I also had so much fun while improving my conversational Spanish. We covered so many topics over the week, that... More

I attended a similar Spanish school in Guatemala last year and liked this one so much better! First there's a structured curriculum, which I can't say my previous school had. Whether your Spanish is beginner, intermediate, or advanced, they will work with you at your level. I have an intermediate level of Spanish. In the short week I was here,... More

I was set up with Viva Spanish School for three weeks of language immersion. I had a year of Spanish in high school and a year early in college but was essentially a beginner as I hadn't used the language for about 10 years. The teachers and the management were very flexible at allowing me to learn at the pace... More

Great atmosphere to learn spanish without pressure. The one on one classes are an excellent tool for any level of learner. I participated in a homestay with a local family the school arranged which was nice and another opportunity to learn the language in real-time. I recommend the school to anyone.

This is the way to learn.......well anything. The amazing attention, one on one classes are great. Everybody is so friendly it feels like home. The staff was very friendly. Free internet access. I went on a field day, which made me experience the culture, nature's beauty and of course most important learning the Spanish language in the meantime. I recommend... More

Really enjoyed my time here learning Spanish. The classes were perfectly adapted to my level and my preferences. The school has a really nice atmosphere and feels like a home in the "dangerous" or may be I should say unknown Managua. I did a homestay and could really recommend that. This really added something to my experience of Nicaragua. Thanks... More
