This Catholic church located at historical center of San Slavador Capital is an example of an architectural trend in which an architectural trend takes place, mortar & iron mix together to create one of most beautiful samples of delicate and intricate figures of mysticism. Tour takes aroun1 hour and best time to visit is early morning to see how sunlight... More

This church that looks like some kind of and industrial architecture from the street is a uniquely beautiful worship space inside with totally unique stained glass and art. Don't miss the iron sculptures of the stations of the cross. They are a one of a kind experience.

From the outside this church looks like a concrete warehouse. Inside, the space is transformed by stained glass blocks that stream light into the church. Designed by famous scultor Ruben Martinez, it is a holy space and one where you will want to stay and meditate.

This church is definitely not to be missed. As others have said the outside is misleading, the inside is very artistic and spiritual, capturing the light and inspiration. Take the time to explore the bullet holes and history as well as the nearby Cathedral and tomb of Oscar Romero. Our guide, Roberto Caledonio was excellent and explained the unique history... More

There is no doubt that freemasons have been involved in this church's arquitecture. Its ideal to go during the day, to enjoy the visual effect created when sun light crosses the cristal wall (The big eye). Highly recommended!

I truly felt that this church was probably one of the most ugly ones I saw in all my travels; however, what a surprise once you enter. Believe me, if the sun is out, outside, you will be blessed on the inside. If you are in the area, don't miss entering this church to see not only the beauty of... More

As we were driving by this weird looking old structure, I was wondering why our tour guide said we will stop there.....it's a church. As we walked inside, I realized why. The simplicity was amazing, you have to see what's inside to really appreciate it. Great stop!

You must go inside if you get a chance while in San Salvador, Didn't know what it was but our cab driver showed it to us and when we went inside it was amazing. Very unique structure and we enjoyed being able to just walk inside and take pictures.

We saw this structure from the outside and our guide it looked ugly - but he said he recommended looking inside and seeing if our opinion changes. The inside was surreal with the sun shining through the stained glass windows. It felt like you were surrounded by a rainbow. It had a very modern feel. They also had sculptures representing...
