IT is an Amazing design , with an uncommon mixture of iron, steel, cement, glass. It is a landmark that should not be missed.

I went on December 28, 2015. It was early evening, so I missed the beautiful stain glassed windows. However, the stations of the cross were fantastic. I was utterly amazed. A great memorial to our Lord and Savior. Don't miss this church!

built with recycled material, this church is very different than others. The stained glass work, adds different colors to the interiors at different time of the day, plan your visit on a sunny day. There are examples of contemporary art sculptures inside too.

It's nothing from the outside but the first thing you'lI want to know when you step inside is the name of the artist, so here it is: Ruben Martinez. He not only designed this stunning and very singular church, but also the amazing rock and metal sculptures that form the stages of the cross. His brilliant use of light and... More

Rundown from the outside, this bullet-ridden church is magnificent from the inside. I don't really like fancy churches, but I had to admit this one was quite beautiful.

This is such a unique church full of history and architecture. The church is free, but I would recommend going with someone knowledgeable about the history of the area ... without a guide you really would miss out. Admission is free. Go in the morning or evening for the full effect of the stained glass windows.

On your way to visit the Monument for Memory and Truth, you can stop by the Igelsia El Rosario in Parque Libertad- a busy central market place of San Salvador. Walk into the normal Catholic Church exterior and you will be immediately taken by the delicate Rainbow coordinated stained glass firmly in place contrasted between the heavy concrete and wood... If you are in the city, come to la Iglesia El Rosario and seat down for a while. It is a perfect place to pray, think, relax,... The special light of the church and the quiet atmosphere will help you a lot to have a peaceful moment in San Salvador. (near the Cathedral).
