About ChernobylLab
Some of our team members lived in Pripyat before 1986. So what we do, is a life for us. We do on-field research of the Chernobyl Zone, collecting and analyzing information about it. And more than a decade we share our experience with anyone, who wants to know more about Chernobyl — being those, who stand in the origins of the tours there in general. We offer official customized tours to the Exclusion Zone, Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, Pripyat, Chernobyl, and around. We are focused on private tours, and create custom plans specifically for every visit. We have a scientific approach, stress on history, culture, and social context, display movies, and photos, share stories and facts, helping our visitors comprehend the Phenomenon of Chernobyl.

My wife and I chose a three-day visit the Chernobyl zone for our honeymoon, and we are so happy that we chose to go with ChernobylLab. Do yourself a favor and choose a multi-day tour with ChernobylLab instead of a one-day tour. Alex was extremely responsive long before our trip even began and he was happy to answer any questions I had about preparing for our trip to the zone and any questions I had about our time spent in Kyiv. His English is very good too, so communication is not a problem. Your trip is more than just a guided tour, as you start to become friends with the team. After each day spent in the zone, Alex and Michaela sat with us at the STALKER restaurant and shared stories, taught us history about the zone, and showed us a lot of artifacts and documents they have acquired over the years. The time spent with them at the restaurant are some of the best memories from our trip and really made us feel welcome. Alex recommended a few tips for our trip that worked out well for us. We chose to stay STALKER Hotel the night before our first day in the zone -- this worked out great because we were well rested to begin our trip into the zone in the morning, and we beat the one-day tours that leave from Kyiv in the morning. We also booked ChernobylLab's tour of Pripyat with Alex Sirota (a resident of Pripyat at the time of the accident) which was an incredibly moving experience -- highly recommend. Talk to Alex about booking a tour inside the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant -- this is a MUST DO if you are visiting the zone!!! Be aware that this tour will take up almost an entire day inside the zone, so our three-day trip only really had two days of zone exploration. Ask Alex if you can meet any residents of the zone. We spent a few hours with the lovely Babushka Ganya at her home. I am very glad that we got to meet with her. The residents of the zone don't get many visitors, so they are very welcoming when given the opportunity. Our only regret for our trip was not booking a longer trip. You will not go wrong booking with ChernobylLab! We will be returning to the Chernobyl zone in the future, and we will be going back with ChernobylLab when we do.

Dear Cameron, Thank you for such words. As I say, the phenomenon of Chernobyl is a multi-level thing, you may (and should) study from different angles, completing, let's call it this way, a puzzle on your own. This is why the proper way is to go deeper than an exploration of the area itself. Thank you for your visit, and you are warmly welcome back!

We spent amazing time with ChrrnobylLab. Very authentic and interesting experience. No big groups, no uninteresting things, no dangerous things. Alex and Michaela were very educated about ChNPP and they created list of the most interesting places which you can visit in very small group with really individual approach. I will never forget these experiences and felling from places in Chernobyl. Thank you very much for that!

The best way how to visit the zone is with Chernobyllab. Professional approach which guaranteed the maximum individual provision of authentic positives from the visit to the zone. It was obvious that it is not only a job for Alex and Michaela, but also their passion and everything they do for 110%. 4 days full of authentic experiences that will be remembered for many years after the visit. therefore I do not say goodbye but I would love to see you again.

Yes, it is truly all about passion :) For us, it is exceptionally important that anyone who comes here will get an opportunity to not just see the place, but feel it, understand it, and learn new - in the way not to create "New Chernobyls". You are warmly welcome back anytime!

I had a one day tour with Alex and Viktor and it was the most amazing experience. Seeing these fantastic sights and hearing all these interesting pieces of history was so great. I had only one day at my disposal but Alex managed to make the most out of it. I'm so happy I opted for this and not one of the overcrowded group tours. And the amazing pictures that I got, this day was perfect for me. Thank you Alex and Viktor.

We can only recommend Chernobyllab, they will literally show you everything they can, if you are interested enough. There is so much more to learn about the Zone than you might think at first and these guys are really proving that fact. You can even have talks with a dozen of experts in the industry there. We'll definitely consider going there again when the time is right, since there is still so much more to explore and experience. :)
